    We got a reported £20 million pounds for Jordan Henderson,and Sir Alex paid £17 million pounds for Ashley Young.Who got the best deal??

    Murray....stupid question,eh??I thought that the majority of Sunderland fans thought Henderson was over-rated.Our club got £20 million pounds for him,and Villa got £3 million pounds less for Young...surely,we got the best deal,or are you just thick?

    chunk,I've supported my club...Sunderland....since the early 1960's!!I can't help being an old fart!!!I rate Henderson,but I think that we got a fair price for him.Young was sold for nought.....especially when you see what Caroll cost!

    everybody got the best deal except Liverpool, Villa got 17 million for a player entering his last year of his contract, Man utd got a player that had he had a few years left on his contract would have cost 40-50% more. we got 20 million for a player that has played over 70 games for us and has NEVER had a stand out game. This leaves Liverpool as the suckers as they have played massively over the odds for a bog standard player.
