McGregor Rosy Chester Davies Bertrand Huddleston Amalfitano Livermore Brady Jelly Long doesn't look too bad
So we're massive now huh? We can just go around saying "nah" to players of Bendtners calibre because he's speaks to the press with a perceived inflated opinion? Brucey's had him twice before and wouldn't go back for a third time if he was as massive a twat as people on here like to think. The lad has bags of ability and always looked to have phenomenal potential to go on to do great things. Didn't quite work out for him at Arsenal, but I'd take him here in a flash if the wages were right. He'd be the best we have, we can't go round turning our noses up at opportunities like this. We can only fail in our bids. To do any less would be failure on another level.
On Bendtner happy to be guided by Brucey. Take McShane, not the best player intially, and off the park was 'quote' immature , as Brucey says he has matured, now the guys a cult hero, gives his all and I guess most supporters would want him at The KC! Bendtner could be another example for Bruceys fine management. That said we might not even be considering him!
Good banter from the club just now! From the official Facebook page Less than three weeks since the season finished and the rumour-mill has already been in full swing with no fewer than 33 names linked with a move to the KC by the media. We're sure this rumour list will continue to grow as the summer progresses! Amalifitano, Ameobi, Assombalonga, Austin, Ayew, Bardsley, Beauvue, Bellerin, Bendtner, Bertrand, Campbell, Cedric Loe, Colback, Dawson, Ferdinand, Fonte, Giaccherini, Husband, Johnson, Kalas, Larsson, Lescott, Livermore, McCleary, Nugent, Richards, Romao, Rose, Snodgrass, Speroni, Taylor, Vogt, Williams.
I agree, he may well have grown up a bit now, not so much of a twat as he was before. As it has been said I would leave it to SB, as I am sure he would know whether he can manage him or not.
I agree with the others regarding Bendtner, talented player than may turn out brilliantly for us with the right man management which is something that Bruce is one of the best at. Williams from Swansea would be a great signing. This season Chezzy was injured for a long time, and next season it could be Curtis. A club looking to progress should have players of around equal ability to push each other and fill in without disruption when there are injuries, Bruce and McShane are not good enough to do that. Also as we play 3 at the back half of the time it would make a lot of sense to have 3 top centre halves.
Not at all. I am also thinking the same. No thanks - No imho. He also got fined 50,000 euros for showing his underwear sponsors name tag in the last tournament.
With aluko & Brady fit do we really need to be looking at strikers? Bruce has played them both down the middle before and we need to strengthen in other areas first!
Agreed. Having both Aluko and Brady fully fit next season will be like having 2 new players for sure. SB will be looking at adding to the defence and midfield first off. Only if Fryatt leaves shall we see another forward come in. imo.
The kid's definitely got talent, he's just too lazy to reach his potential. He's pretty similar to Anelka in that respect. Wenger and Grant both said Anelka had potential to be the world's best striker, he just couldn't be arsed. Bruce is the type of manager that could kick Bendtner into gear, it's just a bit of a risk because of his wages.
I said this in a thread a few months ago but I would really like to see Ashkan Dejagah. Much better than Amalfitano and probably cheaper imo
If Amalfitano is going to cost £4.5m, why can't we just get Redmond at Norwich? No doubt they'd be tempted by a bid in a similar region and I'd much rather have a 20 year old with huge potential and a major sell on value than a 29 year old who doesn't have all that long left in the game
Isn't Dejagah only capable of playing 30 minutes of footy per game? Fulham wouldn't have been as massively f**ked as they were had he not been puffing about for most of his games. Great in short bursts then worryingly quiet for the rest of the game. Would be interesting know how often he managed a full 90?
