    No I won't be debating this any further than the following post.

    Laudrup's record;
    Brondby - Let a load of old players go. Brought a few youngsters through. Finished 2nd, then 1st, then won the Danish double
    Getafe - took this small Spanish club to the Copa Del Ray final and the quarter finals of the UEFA Cup.
    Spartak Moscow - was only there 7 months, didn't get on with the higher ups....not the only manager to go to Russia and experience this.
    Mallorca - were in financial crisis, lost all of their better players and were kicked out of the Europa League because of the financial mess. Laudrup kept them up. Resigned when the chairman took it upon himself to sack Laudrup's right-hand man.
    Swansea - won us our first major trophy and guided us to our highest Prem finish. Following season guided us to the last 32 of the Europa before being sacked for refusing to accept Monk being thrust on him. Sacked. Got huge payout. Left us with players he brought to the club that have significantly increased the value of our squad.

    Them the facts

    <laugh> .....<ok> Us minnow clubs as he called us are doing better after he left than when he was with us and for a guy who thinks he is too good to manage small clubs then i cant see him getting very much more work in the future....the guy is to big for his boots and now everyone can see his ego is what turned the players against him that they would not play for him. It will happen whatever club he goes too if he don't change his attitude and realize he is not in the same league as the top managers and never will be with an ego like that....

    Until Bony can prove he can do it with a big club like sturridge has done then we cant say can we. clubs have to weigh up whether last season for us was a one hit wonder with a smaller club with little other options to challenge him. £19 million buy out clause is an excellent deal for us and a gamble for whoever buys him.

    David, I've only stated the facts.

    When your mate Monk has won 2 league titles (anywhere), 2 cups (1 of them a major cup in one of the most competitive football nations), come runners-up in another final in a major European nation and guide 2 small clubs through to the latter stages of European competition...get back to me.

    He said: "I have talked to clubs in England and Spain. I will try to not sound arrogant now, because I am not, but it has been clubs on a level where I have already been. "I have tried smaller clubs in the two big leagues, Getafe and Mallorca in Spain and Swansea in the Premier League. Therefore, I do not see any reason to repeat it. "That leaves with me two options: to wait for an offer from a big club or accept one of the offers I have received from clubs outside Europe."

    Would the wonderful Dai Swan like to either;
    a) point us to the quote where he called Swansea City a "minnow"
    or
    b) retract the statement he made and admit he was wrong for misrepresenting what Laudrup said
    ?

    The word "minnows" was in the headline, rather than a quote by Laudrup <ok>

    Bloody hell Dai, Bony was outstanding for us on limited chances. In a team like Liverpool and Arsenal he'd be unstoppable.

    Try reading roof it might give you some information and bring you up to date what your beloved useless laudrup thinks of clubs our size.....How arrogant of him to say he wont want to manage small clubs like Swansea again and will wait until one of the big clubs in Europe come calling for him..<doh> I think he will have a long wait by the look of it as nobody has come calling so far.....The Muppet is angry and has had his nose put out of joint by monk doing a better job than him and that all the links of jobs he has not got must hurt.....So the best way to save face is to say he don't want to manage a small club again..<laugh> What a wally...He has made my point and many others with his comments that he is arrogant and has his head stuck up his own arse....long may he be out of work as i would not wish any team big or small to have a manager with his attitude running them.....look what he did to us..<ok>

    I think he will as well but clubs have got to be sure before splashing out mega bucks. Its all well and good him scoring for us but nobody will know for sure if he can do it for a bigger club until he try's and that will reflect on the price they are willing to pay.....remember torres, carrol and even our own Jase the ace were flops having paid big money for them....There is no certainties in football and clubs have to be sure the player will be worth it...

    Bony has done very well joint 4th of the top prem strikers in the list, proud to have a player in our team with that stat and plenty of improvement left in him hopefully doing it still with us.

    So you were wrong Dai yes?
    Humilated yourself again I see.

    Perhaps you'd like to provide some evidence that Monk outperformed Laudrup 'cos the stats say Laudrup won a trophy, finished higher in the league, guided us through the tricky group stage of the Europa (where many bigger clubs than us have come a cropper....Rodgers' Liverpool, with all their resources for example) and Monk has achieved...........well he guided Laudrup's team through a couple of months.

    Not a lot is it?

    All I expect from you is more anger, more bitterness, more personal insults (aimed at Laudrup), more unsubstantiated gossip the likes of you revel in, more deluded arguments (well lies actually....you ask us to believe you that Monk did a better job than Laudrup because you say so. The final league tables and the trophy cabinet proves otherwise). Ingratitude and low class personified.

    Humiliating yourself is fine but you shaming us at every opportunity isn't.
