Looking at the table ,the top 12 with the odd exception reflect their finishing positions ( not precisely I know ) it shows which clubs were poorly managed or spent money on "over valued " players such as Wolfswinkle of Norwich for example .Us at £82.3, 000,000 is another indicator on how well the club is run ,with limited income streams, smallest gate money receipts and no wealthy owner it shows it can be done and done well .<ok>

Unlike other clubs, I think a significant part of our value is concentrated in two players - Bony and Michu.

If we subtract that value where would we be. Other clubs probably have the majority of their value spread over more players. The impact of this is that we are more vulnerable than other clubs to key player loss.

Dare I say it....2 Laudrup signings!
Also; Chico, Ben Davies, Amat, Canas and Pozuelo have all upped their value significantly....helping our figures.
Routledge added to his value under Laudrup also.

    I'm moving on ;-)

We have a good base of value in the squad that will scale over the years as the younger players develop (the likes of Davies, Taylor, Shelvey, Amat), so our current concentration will spread. It will be interesting to see what happens to our value after the World Cup.

Whats Michus value now I wonder ,so many stories about whether he'll even kick a ball again which must have been picked up by other managers .Bony's value wise he'll be a significant amount of the total but we still have a youngish squad who have yet to show their true value .

    Michu £2.2m
    Shelvey £5m
    Bony £12m
    Chico £2.5m
    Routs £1.75m
    Amat £2m
    Vorm £2.5m
    Poz £0.3m
    Dyer £0.75m
    Ash £0.4m
    Ki £5m
    Pablo £5.5m
    Bartley £1m

Think that's everyone who isn't free or a nominal fee (Davies, Rangel etc). Those transfer fees are based on my memory of the fee reported so don't shoot me!
I make it approx £41m spent (although the Shelvey money was £5m owed to us by Liverpool for the Joey Allen transfer so maybe shouldn't count?)
