Most of it ends up as silly ad hominems or pithy attempts at personal point scoring. It all gets a bit tedious. I've made a few positive suggestions on possibly ways to salvage something, but they just get bypassed in favour of straw men. Some are relocating because they don't fancy being filmed by the police / gesticulated at / smokebombed every game, others are reluctantly staying put and are unsure what awaits them. Hopefully E4 & E5 will raise their game noisewise.

Filey, the 'singers' aren't all one group. Some I know that sing, want to be nowhere near the ulltras. They'd moved away from them in the past.

Seriously? I've no issue with the ultras, good luck to them. It's what they want to do, and I've moaned long enough about the need for the next generation to make their claim, but it's not for me. The Palace experience they're going for is a long way from what many fans want. Other fans want to enjoy the more traditional chanting and singing withouth the need for baubles and bells. It's why I say a decent arrangement would have been to have another area, perhaps E4, as a old school singing area rather than competing in the North Stand. A more practical solution would have been to encourage the ultras into N2, leave the away fans for a season, and encourage E4 as a more vibrant area prior to the change. The majority of these changes, seem to fail in the long term, even when they don't seem to treat the fans they expect to create the atmosphere as a whining inconvenience.
