    Osborne St is mainly PCSO's.

It flooded in December and they've had to spend a shedload more on replacing equipment and flooring.

It's still surprising it cost £7m though - they converted the old 1960s Children's nursery. The conversion looks good, but not sure how it was so expensive.

Queens Gardens do still have some units there, who are waiting to move to another new block being built in Melton. Some of it is being funded by the sale of the Pacific Exchange offices... bought by Hull City Council, who also have no money.

Sam Vine, 19, also a Hull College student, said: "It is scary, you never expect to see stuff like this happening, especially not here."

I am afraid Sam is in for a disappointment. People can die anywhere Sam ,at any time. Even, as hard as it may seem, in a public space in Hull.

Sammie Vickerman, 17, a student at Hull College, saw the body being removed by two police officers.

She said: "We normally come through here on our lunch break. We were walking through and a policeman told us to go on the road.

"Then a woman told us a body had been found so we looked. It was lying in the weeds and they dragged it out.

"It was horrible to see and the last thing we expected."

But you went out of your way to have a look anyway....

Is it just me who finds the amount of laughing / jokey posts on this thread a little disturbing? Someone's son / grandson / brother / father has died in Hull, seemingly in tragic circumstances, and the only response is making jokes about the police and the people who found the body. Yet we get loads of knicker wetting about a billionaire 86 year old Yank who means nothing to this city dying and the thread being called 'does one'....

Agree with you BCC, having not see the story in the HDM at the time I thought it was maybe a prank or some other joke until I looked online then back at the comments on this thread and realised that these comments were about an actual incident in the city centre. I am still at a loss at the mentality of people posting such comments maybe they will reflect a little after someone in their lives pass away.

    Fully agreed.
It seems on here nowadays that the bad has to be found it most things.
Is it the world we live in...probably.

Yep, some people on here are so keen to act like a clever **** they don't even realise how pathetic they're making themselves look.

    They know who they are.

    Sad really.

Dual standards, faux outrage, selective indignation, hypocrisy- and that's just on this thread!

Why does someone dying have to be so bloody sensitive?

If it's a relation or whatever to a board member then out of respect obviously. Or someone we all hold dear to our hearts like Nelson Mandela. Anyone else is fair game, it's only someone who none of us probably ever met dying.

When that old **** Glazer died last week the ripples of hollow sympathy on here were pathetic. The man was a f**king piece of **** and some kicked off about saying he'd done one? The f**king cripple would have got beaten over 10m by a woodlouse, small chance of him doing one in a hurry.

I understand this mystery body may well turn out to be someone known by someone on here, but as no one knows who it's is yet nobody can get upset about it.

    The board hard man speaks.

The same one who's crying like a baby because he has to move seats.
