Yep, I wsh him all the best up there. I think they'll be happier about signing him tan we will be about letting him go. At least we can give him a clap next season.

Best of luck to Jose. Their gain is our (self inflicted) loss

A 1 year deal at a team like Blackpool? He could have done better.

Good luck Jose. But not too much, as I'm relying on Blackpool to be worse than us <ok>

There were a lot of fans who saw Riga as a "nobody" when he arrived...

Good luck Jose , hope he does well and it does bite RD, as long as we get 6 points against them of course

Yeah but it is locked in, you can clearly see how all things will pan out now. After Riga's decent effort in keeping us up, he was the obvious choice to assume the helm for the next season. You can only be ok with optimism and giving nobody's a chance for so long. We didn't need to take another risk in another manager, we had tried and tested one, Riga. The passing of Riga and hiring of Booby locks in our worst fears, RD is a madman.

Most fans including me saw Riga as the obvious choice for next season, the fact that he wasn't chosen doesn't point to anything clearly other than Roley doesn't reward staff...

Roley's showed no class with the decision, but slagging Peeter's off because our owner chose him over Riga is equally showing no class...

I still think Roley went for Peeter's because he would fit in better with his network... I'm going to Judge Peeter's on how he does with resources given, I have no interest in his CV, Lennie & Curbs had modest managerial CV's but did rather well...

Blackpool and Charlton are two bankers for relegation. (Rotherham makes the third). Not sure if either manager will still be there by the end of the season.

But we were supposed to be favourites for relegation last season but we managed to stay up. With the current squad I agree with you Eddie. But let us see what players come in before we kick off.

In whose eyes? Not in mine, or the majority here, and, if I remember correctly, not the bookies either. The bookies can get it wrong sometimes, but overall they do better than the media pundits and the fans. I will be interested to see who they cite as favourites for relegation just before it starts.

Many people on various forums had us down for relegation. People said no other Manager could get more out of the players than Powell, but they were wrong there.

It doesnt matter who he went with, Peeters or any name, he chose someone who will be a simple puppet. You cant accuse posters here of having no class because they have opinions on how our club is being run. You just love to misinterpret a heck of a lot i notice.

    I call a spade a spade.

I'd be surprised if the bookies favorites weren't Rotherham, Brentford and Blackpool/Birmingham. But there is still a summers worth of activity yet to come so will change by then.
