    1. Luis Suarez..................31

    2. Daniel Sturridge............22

    3. Yaya Touré...................20

    4. Kun Agüero ................ 17

    5. Wilfried Bony................17

    6. Wayne Rooney..............17

    7. Edin Džeko...................16

Looking at the top 7 Strikers for 2013/14, you can see why Bony would be attracting interest, yet he was being tract by many of the big clubs before we signed him, and yet none, not even Chelsea were prepared to take a gamble on him? Now that he has shown his worth with Swansea, it would be a travesty for us to let this boy go for less than 25 Million, just look at the price tags he's mixing with, and he has in my view more attributes to his game than some of the above.

The papers are shouting their mouths of at who's going to get him, from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, to Newcastle and West Ham, but I doubt few of them will stump up £25 Million except for Chelsea and even they would have problems with Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations starting to bite , and while Bony may well be on Mourinho's short list, I doubt it will happen. Arsenal on the other hand could well take advantage of their frugal spending over the years, but still they have one stumbling block, and that is Wenger, do you see him spending 25 Million? I don't, Arsenal have for some years under Wenger been nothing more that window shoppers, so while there is a lot of paper talk coming out of the London press, it's more hot air than anything else.

But should a serious bid come in, then I trust Huw Jenkins to hold out for £25 Million, regardless of any £19 Million Trigger clause in his contract, you can count on Huw Jenkins to get it right.............<ok>

Agree with a lot of that Phill though big Prem cubs will always find the money if they want to.

There are two options if a sizeable - and like you I do mean sizeable - bid comes in. He has a long way to go on his contract and we're not desperate for money so do we do a Suarez and hold him here for another season or do we cash in?

My view is the former as he's worth more to us on the pitch than money in the bank and if he's good enough he'll get another offer or two next year. But unfortunately our Board will inevitably do the latter.

There is always the temptation with such large sums of cash for a small club like us, and I would like to think that Huw would pull out all the stops to keep Bony here for another season, especially since it's our board's Rookie managers maiden voyage this season, I see Bony really hitting form next season with us, and his value going up to £30 Million, but is there really going to be this bidding war for him?..............<ok>

Arsenal will never let Bony go to Chelsea , its either Arsenal or hes staying put imo but I think he will be an Arsenal player . If Barca are asking 30 million for Fabergas , Bony's worth 50 ...

Nah don't buy that. Fabregas has a long history of performing over a number of seasons at two top clubs in two tough leagues. Although Bony has done well for us and in the Eredivisie some may still view him as a bit of a gamble - Fabregas isn't.

Fabergas was ALWAYS surrounded by great players , If he played for a "Tottenham" type of team , youd get a better picture of Fabergas , just an opinion dragom.... we will see.... 30 million is twice as much money as fFabergas is worht imo , 50 million is twice as much as Bony's worth . Bony is one of those great players that everyone sidestepped... but they are all looking at him now ..if both get sold in the summer , Bony will bring in more money..cheers

Fabergas is a proven player at the highest level and will be worth more than bony who has had a good season with a small club, Bony would have to move to a bigger club and perform consistently to be considered with the big boys. It will still be considered as a gamble today to pay top dollar for someone who has had one good season and that's what will be in the minds of clubs interested in bony. He is worth more to us but because of his ambition to play for a bigger club then we will probably not get as much for him as we want but will still make a healthy profit plus we must ensure to put a sell on clause because if his value does shoot up in the future then we would make a lot of money if he is sold...

Thats the problem ,with so many rumours / stories £18,19 ? hopefully it's £25.000.000. I'm hopeful that both parties will be satisfied with one more season with us then move on with our best wishes .It would make Monks' pre season preparations a lot easier and maybe he will be able to "build " a team around Bony

Don't agree on Fabregas, roof. Being "surrounded by great players" is something that could be said about anyone playing in a top side. Fabregas has proven his worth season after season and you don't play for Arsenal AND Barca if you're no good.

Don't disagree with any of your Bony comments though.

Fabergas (sorry about the spelling ) playes amongst a team that is valued at 478 million £ .. Bony plays amongst a team that is valued at 82 million £ ...... which brings another debate about value to cost......but your going to have a better chance of success as an individual at Barca than you are at Swansea. Like to see what fab could do with us , and not the keeper....we will see how the keeper plays ......ps that 82 million value bestowed to our players is 10th most valuable in the Premier

What is this fixation with Fabregas ? Is he the only other football player you've heard about. He plays in midfield ! Bony, the one this post is about, is a striker ! Stop taking the threads off topic <doh>
