I know it's probably a bit of a silly question, but who are 'Marrusia'?

Marussia is Virgin's main sponsor and I think people are predicting a branding change.

I agree. All I see in Chandhok is charm and a winning way with the media. I hope Lotus choose someone better: Glock, as you say, or Senna maybe.

Sorry, I may have misunderstood you there but how was Senna's car 'slower' than Chandhok's?

It was heavier and had a slower gearbox.

People compare Maldanado with the Hulkenburg from the end of year and his silly pole lap. Maldanado has been much better than Hulkenburg in comparison to the start of their careers, and he brings money obviously. He has been much quicker on pure pace and just lacks racecraft which can be learned.

It was basically just older, Chandhok's car was newer with a better gearbox and lighter parts, HRT could not afford it for both cars, only one.

A lot of driver's have earned points/positions due to others dropping out. If we were to ignore results achieved because someone better retired then half of the Grand Prix's in history would have to be declared null and void. It's also worth remembering Spain when Alguersuari crashed into Chandhok and Monaco where Trulli practically mounted the HRT (which, had it not happened would have given Chandhok a 13th after Petrov retired)?

Every driver get's DNF's at some point, the important thing is taking your chances when an opportunity arises. Chandhok took his more than Senna did. It's also worth remembering that Chandhok finished 14th twice in his 10 races whereas Senna only managed it once in 18 races. Chandhok's average finishing place was 16.8 and Senna's was 17.4. I'm not denying that Senna didn't have bad reliability or anything but the point is he, as well as Di Grassi and Glock didn't take their chances when they arose.

Blimey, I wasn't aware of that. I figured they were both built new for the season. Could you possibly point me in the direction of an article on the subject?

Yes, I agree. I think there's a bit of pay-driver prejudice where he's concerned; I think he'll be next year's Petrov and here to stay.

Out of the 18 races Senna drove in he had 9 DNFs and only one of them was his fault. For me Chandhok does not really have anything while Senna might have something so deserve a chance to see what he has got.

Sorry can't remember where I read it but I remember reading about it multiple times last season, I think he had a older/heavier chassis, a slower gearbox and a outdated fuel tank partitioning compared to the paydriver HRT car.

what chances did Senna have? Karun was last in both his 14th place finished. He beat nobody. You can argue that Chandhok took his chances but when the only driver you can even hope to beat is you teammate it is luck based. Bruno had mechanical retirements in both Aus and Monaco after out-qualifing Chandhok. When you look at who deserves to be in F1 more you have to look at speed and there is no doubt to me Senna is faster, after all he fought with Virgins on occasion (which i though was impressive) Not saying Senna definately deserves to be in F1 but if he dosn't then Chandhok should not even be close. Nothing personal though. Karun is clearly a nice guy and him and bruno had a great freindship IIRC.

Where else would you put Hitler?

I just can't believe anyone would actually bother reading any of this stupid specualtion anyway. I only stuck old Adolf in there just to see if anyone noticed. I certainly didn't read anybody else's guesswork.

Apologies if I somehow made light of the holocaust and offended you.

He is right Manny, I myself didn't really take much notice of other people choices.
