I wonder what he'll do if he gets an injury that keeps him out for 3-4 months and Liverpool sign their next target instead? He'll feel a little strange.

 

Isn't it just the Liverpool way? Come in with a ridiculously low offer, take ages pissing around with slightly higher ones and then end up getting beaten to the punch by another team who just pays the selling club what they want.

Some guy on twitter said that a young boy in a Saints top approached Lallana the other day to say hello and Adam punched him straight in the face and stole the bag of fizzy cola bottles that the boy's mother who died the day before had bought for him. Using this information I have ascertained that he is in fact either possessed by the devil or actually the anti-Christ intending to bring about the end of days and the burden of wearing the Saints crest with Saintly imagery on it has become too much for him to bear and is slowly killing him (When he pats the badge he is in fact trying to put out the flames caused by the holy fabric coming into contact with his evil skin). He initially attempted to go his spiritual devilish home of United but was unable to agree a wage (My sources say he is looking for approximately £17m per week as well as several bonuses amounting to the souls of the innocent), but he has settled for Liverpool hoping to be able to summon the dragon on their crest and use it for his evil purposes. I have contacted my local priest and we are planning to fly out to Miami tomorrow morning to attempt to put an end to his wicked ways.

I just find it interesting/mystifying/amusing how quickly people turn and on how little information they will do it. A few weeks ago Lallana was a hero, the angelic figurehead of our club, now because of a move that may or may not happen and things he may or may not have done to try and complete that move, he's a dick, a traitor, a weasel etc.

Guess it ties into what I was saying about loyalty the other day, same kind of thing happened with Pochettino, Cortese, Adkins, Lambert (in between him leaving and his letter) and now Katharina and Krueger - as soon as they arrived their banners were taken up with minimal information and a lot of PR guff and then as soon as there is a whiff or a theory that they may not be doing the best job or may not have the clubs best interests at heart they are dropped. I'm not trying to stick up for any of those people or sing their praises or anything, just something I have been observing for a while.

 

Football fans + unreasonable expectations + gullibility + human nature siding with things that back up emotions + pr + forums + social media = this

 

Some have deserved having a few digs thrown at them. But why would any one say anything bad about Lambert, Adkins or KL. The asset stripping **** that was posted on here over and over again pissed me off tho. One poster even put that she was pissing on her dads grave. (Or words to that effect).

I used it and do use it often. There is nothing wrong with a little speculation Mikey. We don't know what is going on, but I know what's not been said. My teams captain has not come out and said anything or shown me anything to stop me thinking the worst. The signs don't look too good to me. I wouldn't call him any of those things, but he isn't portraying anything positive for me.

 

I do, it's when it's absent that I'm left scratching my head. I'm not saying everyone who is questioning Lallana or is worried he is going are jumping the gun or being foolish, I am doing those very things myself, but I've seen plenty of people talking definitively on matters with limited or scattered information and/or completely flipping their viewpoint over nothing and that's what I find daft.

 

Christ! it's worse than I thought. What a bastard.
