Let's be clear on one thing straight from the off, there won't be too many dull and boring days with Cellino in charge, that's for sure. The key thing about his buying Leeds is he got us away from those amateurs at GFH, well almost. Let's see where we stand on June 3rd, now that our players are back, in no particular order:

    - all the out of contract rubbish finally gone, no surprises there

    - players forced to return early from the usual end of season break, although TA remains shut

    - Carbone appointed Master Football Consultant on everything and everyone at Leeds, although it seems his only work so far has been to translate Cellino's propaganda to English and then support them with "intelligent" and "insightful" statements of his "own"

    - the wild promise of buying back ER "the day after I buy Leeds" bites Cellino on his knob, and the buy back promise is quickly revised ... next week, next month, next year, next century maybe ... who fcuking knows with Cellino anymore

    - severe cut backs are made at ER as Cellino battles the debt issue, and unfortunate staff are made reduntant, fcuking up family holidays, delaying car payments, no meat for dinner ... not long after Cellino's offspring are made Directors at the club, with their roles seemingly to be that of social media experts responsible for putting out childish **** on twitter and facebook ... awesome

    - TA now looking as if it may be abandoned altogether because according to Carbone "it is a fantastic facility of Champs Lge quality, but we are not in the Champs Lge" ... oh fcuk off you bum licker

    - McD is brazenly frozen out by Cellino after the final game, and inevitably leaves the club because Cellino wants "a coach not a manager", having earlier said McD "cannot manage, he doesn't know how to manage, he must just be a coach and leave the managing to me" ... McDs response was the tongue in cheek change to wearing a tracksuit on the touchline ... everyone knew then that McD was gone, it was just a matter of signing the severance agreement

    - McD leaves with his dignity intact, and with the best wishes of the majority of Leeds fans ... he had to endure a bizarre season off the field thanks to the clowns at GFH, then had to face another clown in Cellino, but thankfully he is spared anymore pain and can now go on to his next role away from the increasing soap opera that is Leeds United

    - Cellino meets the players, and suddenly we are told our plsyers are so much better than he thought ... hang on a minute, these are the same dross that fcuking refused to behave like footballers in way too many games last season, the same lot that couldn't pass a ball five yards, make a tackle or even fcuking walk down the tunnel in a straight line ... Cellino clearly is spot on yet again, because Carbone tweets "the players here are wonderful" ... oh fcuk off you bum licker

    - the race for the brand new, first time ever Head Bib Washer at Leeds hots up, and a certain Dave Hockadoodledoo is the bookies early favourite to take up the role of Cellino's right hand little finger ... as if this isn't depressing enough the other candidates are just as uninspiring, with even Bobby (should that be Bibby) Davison throwing his hat in the ring ... can't blame Bibby (yes, I couldn't resist) though, the list is so awful he genuinely feels he has a proper shot at becoming Leeds manag- erm, coach or summat

    - Cellino is setting the ground rules quickly in terms of expectations ... he is massively upset at what he finds at Leeds after doing due diligence, fighting the Football League and having to pay millions to get a 75% stake ... "I am shocked, Leeds is a mess" he declares, although all he needed to do was pop onto Not606 and ask Doc and Glory ... "everyone is against me" becomes the Cellino mantra, and he makes it clear he will not be spending any "family money" and Leeds must pay for itself ... no money for big ticket signings, and Academy gems will be sold to fund the club ... in the meantime the club's bank account is frozen while a winding up petition is contested, and there is still the appeal in Italy to come ... sort of starting to expect in future to read about football officials being kidnapped, referees and linesmen disappearing or being beaten up, TV pundits found headless in the boot of a car

    - Tommy Rowe signs for Wolves

    - GFH are still on the board and hold a 25% stake in Leeds

    - Cellino will pick the team, decide the tactics and be the "manager" with the Head Bib Washer (Hockaday / Hasselbaink / Goofy / Gary Cooper or any other name you DON'T want associated with "leading" this great club) being handsomely paid to shut up and teach the players to play the way Cellino wants them to, which basically means new formations and tactics in training after every game ... the players will clearly be super motivated, run through brick walls, beat all comers easily and become the greatest ever Leeds team ... well only if Carbone tweets it (oh fcuk off you bum licker)

I agree that not all the signs have been perfect, but it is worth bearing in mind that he hasn't even been in the job for two months yet. Early days. I'm not a fan of the coach approach, and I don't think he should have been so brazen in his ER/TA buy back promises, but I think it's clear that there are big problems behind the scenes, and they're not the sort of problems that can be sorted out in days or weeks. I'm willing to give him a little while longer yet <ok>

    Spot on Kiwi <ok>

Billy as the spokesperson for LUST why are you trying to allienate the organisation because all you do is bang on about just how bad things are. There are many times when you speak a lot of sense, but regarding Cellino you're talking like a kid who got grounded, as you make too many assumptions. You were the bloke that bigged up GFH and you were the bloke right up until a couple of months ago, who wanted to have Haigh's babies. You were having meetings with those useless robbing twats and telling us how good they were going to be. Sorry mate, this sounds like Cellino has told you to **** off so you want to throw some dirt.

None of us know how bad things have been left and Cellino has employed a forensic accountant to find out who's been robbing the club. Torrie boy in jail and mixed up with Bates. Cellino will buy back ER because he wants to own a ground he can develop after his problems in Italy. TA will be given back or sold if we buy it because its worth more money for development, which means a new academy and training facility.

I cannot slag him off yet until he screws up and I agree that BMcD had outstayed his time, simply because he couldn't get his players to give their best. he had the worst results of many manager in history, so why should he stay. He had the same problems 12-months ago as he had last week, yet it didn't stop the team getting to 5th by November. From November to the end of the season was the worst in history.

The players who are still here are under contract so he will of course want to big them up as he wants them to perform, its called man management. he wants cash for some of these p[layers not pay them wages to sit on the bench. His manager gave contracts out to players who are not good enough and he wants to do the best with what he has.

We will see a few young kids this season because we need them, but I'm hopeful that we will see the ship being steadied, and the finances back under control

I will follow you Billy when I see the team perform like last season, but until then I'll wait and see <ok>

I find it strange that so many Leeds fans seem to have put their faith in Cellino, when a quick look at his previous convictions should have set the alarm bells off from day 1!!

1996 - Held in custody for eight days and later convicted of deceiving the EU and the Italian Ministry for Agriculture out of £7.5million. Plea-bargained a reduced and suspended 14-month sentence.

2001 Handed a 15-month suspended sentence for false accounting at Cagliari.

Last year he was arrested as part of an investigation into whether public money was improperly used to finance building part of Cagliari's stadium and is awaiting a trial for this.

This year he has already been found guilty of tax evasion of his 1st yacht - yacht confiscated and $600,000 fine paid - Cellino contesting decision

Later this year he faces a further trial for tax evasion on a second yacht and a Range Rover (both confiscated)

Was originally in Leeds in a consulting capacity for Sport Capital - now it transpires that there were 2 Sport Capitals, one fronted by Andrew Flowrs, and Sports Captal (Guernsey) - 2 completely seperate companies the Guernsey one now thought to involve a certain Ken Bates. So which one was Cellino consulting for?

Cellino's company "Elanora Sports" have registered their UK address as 27/28 Eastcastle Street - the same address as was initailly used by Forward Sports Fund and also as one of many addresses used by Mark Taylor - remember them?

I think they've already learned that his translation isn't that great!!

"The first day i will go to the bank and buy Elland Road and Thorpe Arch" = "I will close them both and move to the Isle of Wight"

It's the crooks that don't get caught that are more worrying, TC! Like Batesy (allegedly).

LOL Doc ... no I'm not the hillbilly :) this topic is really a starter for talking about Cellino so far and what he's done / is stating he wants to do ... the whole coach-only thing is a recipe for disaster for example, and you just have to look at the list of candidates for putting the bibs out to see it's not the way we want to be going ... I am a little concerned about how he's doing things and what he's saying, but I am willing to give him a chance, because maybe he needs to fcuk up big time first to realise it's a different game in England, where Championship players earn more like Serie A wages, and it's not going to be a quick fix with average players to get to the Prem ... next season is going to be mega competitive, Derby will be flying, the three relegated clubs will all be strong, Wolves will have momentum, expect Brighton to be in the mix again, Bolton and Wigan have their acts together again ... Cellino has got to realise he needs a proper manager, some serious investment and a stable squad to get promotion, it won't happen very easily that's for sure and his strategy for what it is doesn't seem to factor these things in

The way it stands right now without any new players, we will be battling with the clubs at the bottom. Many of the clubs mentioned above all have parachute money, Derby are rolling with umbrella Steve and the sides coming down are determined to go back up. The weakest in there will be Norwich because they ****ed up. We need a decent coach and a few quid to keep us in mid-table, but Cellino will need to do better than that the season after or he will have to admit hes a ****ing idiot for buying the club.
