    Is he meant to turn away young children asking for autographs because they have a shirt of a team he is being linked with and reportedly may want to go to?

    the context is distasteful.

    if the squad or a subsection of it were signing shirts, a kid with a liverpool shirt gets gerrard, sturridge and then lallana is there, what's he going to do? "piss off kid"?

    mischief maker snaps lallana signing a red shirt for a kid and posts on twitter.

    context rewritten.

    if the tweet is genuine, then the photo is distasteful.

    We do need be careful not to over analyse everything. Signing shirts & building crap in his garden will probably be the least annoying things he does this summer.

    Rickie needs to have a word about how to go about things the correct way. Adam started correctly by keeping quiet...upsetting though that was bearing in mind his badge slapping antics. Told that we wanted to wait, he should have sworn under breath and carried on being silent. Kicking off via the media upsets the fans without progressing his plans one jot.

    I didn't think so. I've tried the Fran approach of thinking well, someone handed him a shirt and he had to sign it, but that doesn't sit right for me. I'm struggling to think anything but distain towards him at the moment. If it is as it seems then if be inclined to hold on until the last day of the transfer window and take the money but at least have him not doing all pre-season with them.

    I hope it isn't as it looks.

    Hope not...hope it is all resolved amicably. He has done a lot for us...shame if a few weeks undermines all that good work.

    if he's told the club he wants to leave but hasn't handed in a transfer request, he's burned his bridges with me. i'm sure we'll never get reliable confirmation of that though.

    Maybe he is just showing his true colours now. On the pitch he has always seemed a bit petulant to me (not that I've really minded seeing as it was for our cause!!) and if these stories/rumours are true then I wouldn't be too surprised.

    He really is a bit simple to come out and say something like that, if it is true, which I am not sure it is. Liverpool wanted it done before the squad flew out. It wasn't so deal off. Adam needs to concentrate on playing for England and then repairing the damage he has caused at Saints.
