So you are holding the NOT606 reps responsible for comments that were not made and, therefore, could not be minuted - do I read you right that you accuse others (not OLM and PLT) for not making comments that could have been minuted? What comments do you (now, with hindsight) believe they should have made? If the solution, to the atmosphere problem, was so clear in it's solution, why did you not post it; especially as another solution might inconvenience you and send you on a blame-game crusade. Do you really believe that, at that meeting, the first of it's kind, when there is the supposed intention to have more inclusive and targeted meetings, the topic you are lambasting folk about deserved or had enough substance to take any other action than was taken? If you do, then please explain what you know and why it was so critical then, when there was a far bigger issue on the table - the one that caused some supporters to call other supporters scabs, etc.

It's little wonder people are put off from posting on this forum. All some posters want to do is argue and throw insults about. Little wonder indeed.
From what's published it would appear that the FLAG meeting discussed moving the away fans and putting home supporters behind the goal. There is no mention of moving E1 to E3 to accommodate the away supporters. If it was raised, and I have no reason to think it was, then I would have expected that to be raised on the various message boards by those at the meeting. As far as I recall it wasn't. The FLAG meeting was a long time ago and what we don't know is whether any further discussions took place with groups of fans, individuals. If they took place then I can see why the club would feel consultation with the fans over the move had taken place. If no discussions had taken place then I would have expected the club to try and find out the views of the fans affected. I may have ended up in a small minority but thats life and I'd get over it. If discussions had taken place I'd have expected those fans involved to have sought out the views of those of us affected. Again I may have been in a minority but I'd have been asked. I've bought my season ticket and if I don't like the view I can move. If the response on Amber Nectar from supporters giving up their season passes is more widespread I will have the opportunity to move to another part of the ground.
In summary: Various conversations have taken place between the club and supporters about the North Stand. It was felt that the proposals needed to be supported by SAG but that it was unlikely to happen until the representation on the group was changed. SAG relented earlier this year. No one on here gave any consideration to how the changes would come about. The club decided that they wanted E1,2,3 to move to the North Stand. E1,2,3 season card holders either have moved or are not renewing. Have I missed something?

Just the view that no one really knows how the change will have an effect on the atmosphere and that the club, just as with most things, could have handled it better - something I have not seen anyone disagree with. Other than that, no.
It'll be intersting to see what happens if there are consequences for this that start to impact on the "just get on with it" types that seem to be replying.
See, you can edit, move and merge with alacrity; it's a pity you can't do it at the right times! It's not an odd niggle at DMD, but it is me questioning why you make accusations, post incorrect statements and then expect no one to question you without you constantly resorting to snide remark. Lots of people read and quite a few respected posters have criticised you for it, on a number of topics. Not interested in a you and me conflict, that's your ball-park.
Quite possibly, but people seem hung up on 'other' issues rather than adressing the situation as it is. There's still the posibility of trying to make this work, even within the limitations. If there's an atmosphere, it'll be despite these changes rather than because of. What a shame so many long term fans have to be sacrificed on the way.

I couldn't give a ****e about being questioned, it's the point of a message board but once again, you've run off on a track of your own making and get upset when people don't follow, because it's too many straw men. I think the owners want to quarantine E1-E3 and see them as a thorn in their side, a bad influence on other fans etc. I think their ideal is a compliant, passive, well-heeled, forelock-tugging, squash tournament West Stand type crowd. Whenever I see these gravy trainers outside the KC , I am reminded of the old City chant : Where were you at Boothferry Park?
It was one of the early issues I raised before some decided to reply to what they think are my motives. As more and more longer term fans get tired of it and walk away, the name change and other issues will just go through on a nod.
