What I find strange is that Danny Rose is playing, who hasn't really done much this season and Scott Sinclair, who destroyed Championship defences and scored 27 goals, isn't playing.
The wums on Henderson have started.I have already had to close an article written by wakkalfc. It offered nothing constructive.Even sword agreed it was a wum article.
I think the u21's are awful... i watched the game and they are totally disjointed. Stuart piecre has actually a great side but they are not a team. he's biggest crime is mr mancienne in midfield... the disjointed team is very poor to see. its a bog standard 4-4-2, the forwards are very isolated and he looks like a hodgson. those kids one chance at this level is ruined by a rank manager but if you look at the team its very powerful but it shows up that england cannot make a creative player... lots of power, pace, passing ability, striking power but nothing like a creative playmaker to make it tick...
Doubles all round, barkeep. I have stared into the eyes of the Beast, it has called my bluff, I have roared and it has backed off and cowardly crawled to its seedy lair. In simple terms, the company who sacked me said they'd go to tribunal thinking it'd scare me off but when it was made clear to them that I was right up for it and longing to see their incompetent decision makers cross-examined they folded like a cheap napkin. A wet napkin full of runny snot. Muppetfinder 1 Corporates 0
stick it to them... if they didn't follow "procedure" they'll not have a leg to stand on and never tkae the first offer lol
They did follow procedure. To the letter. I was overwhelmed with process and procedure. My point was the initial accusation, amid a slew of false charges from a rival contractor, was bogus and they made no attempt to confirm its veracity. For example, I was accused of "sitting in a guest area reading a newspaper." Anybody who's been into any kind of corporate building will know you sign in at reception and wait in the guest area for a member of staff to collect you. They provide newspapers for those waiting. This is well-known, yet a trio of managers failed to apply common sense before it got to the hearing, where I had to highlight the ridiculousness of the charge, which was agreed by all and rejected, along with every other charge except one that was based on the hearsay of a school-leaver whose nickname in our office was Gormless.
Sorry lads, been away to Toronto the past few days and just getting back. I get back and see Gago, Adam has gone quiet, and Zapata out of no where. I don't know what to think anymore with who we want or are really after.
AFC Liverpool have been promoted to the North West Counties Premier Division following a bizarre turn of events at the League AGM on Saturday morning. After Rossendale United gave no indication to the League Management Committee that they wish to remain members of the league for season 2011-12 and failed to pay their league membership fee by the required deadline in addition to non-payment of other fines and general maladministration over the past few months, a decision was taken to expel them from the division. It created a vacancy in the Premier League, which was offered to Holker Old Boys as they finished third in Division One last term. But, after Holker turned down the offer, the additional place was snapped up by the team who finished fourth in Division One - AFC Liverpool. They will now compete in the 22-club Premier League in 2011-12. Congratulations to AFC Liverpool! It's nice to see them moving up the leagues!
It could be because talkSPORT were talking about the standing issue at football grounds. I suspect that might be why. Can't be 100% sure though.
I remember going to Layer Road (one of the worst grounds in professional football back in the day) as a kid, standing in the barside and feeling claustrophobic and that was only around about 800-900 fans... When they built seats in the clock end I prefered to sit there, maybe i'm a bit of a girl and maybe it's just the new breed of football fan but I prefer seating... that and therewas always some prick ready to spill his tea over you or burn you with his ***
Do you sometimes feel more tired if you haven't done anything all day? I know it is a weird question but it's been bugging me all day. Right, here is an example. Yesterday, I had to go into college early. Got up at 6, left the house at 7.15, got into college at 8.30. I did coursework from about 9 to 3.45. Got home, didn't feel tired at all. Today, got up at 11 and have basically spent the day doing nothing. Bit of coursework and have been on this. I now feel unbelievably tired. Am I weird or do other people get this?
That's normal mate. Just the way your body works - it adjusts to what you're doing. You're having a lazy day, it lazes. By the way, anyone got any decent ideas for the name of an LFC blog?
