Bird flu doesn't exist(according to China despite a few hundred people dieing from it there).

 

I doubt very much that Ralph would have come out and make statements about 'trying their best', 'no point in trying to understand why people do things' and about 'wasting 16 days' if MP could come out and deny it. Mauricio probably quite liked it here and wouldn't have minded staying...if he hadn't got a better offer.

 

Not given it any thought for 18 mths or so, but I did find myself trying not to breath the air in close proximity to them......I must have looked a bit strange.

Not going to trawl through the last pages,but I have just online that we have been linked to Leonardo Ulloa, I thought we would be aiming higher than that...

 

Only source I can find for that is Tribal Football, so I'm not going to be too concerned. Most results say Leicester are bidding £3m for him.

But thats the 64,000 dollar question,now with Rickie gone,Jay rod injured the 3 loan strikers to be sold, I think we will get in 2 strikers....but who? I know Ings is rumoured but there must be another...

I'm too wussy to sign Sigurdsson. He's going to get a high wage. Probably not out of our price range, but enough to be risky. Especially without knowing if he fits the new manager's style. Plus, I think it looks bad if we delay Cork and Fonte because we say we want to wait for the new guy and then turn around and sign someone else to a big contract. Will probably be some pushback from the fans as well.

If we wait until the new guy comes in, and he's okay with Sigurdsson that would be great as I like him as a player and did not realize he is only 24. I'd be quite excited by that. But by the time we get around to that, he'll probably be signed. Which stinks, but it is what it is. Just don't think we can do it.

 

His wages reportedly aren't insane, largely because he was stepping up from Hoffenheim rather than a big-money club. Believe he's making roughly the equivalent of our top players now.

 

He has an impressive shot on him, but I've not really seen him influence a game with his overall play. I'm not convinced he is better than what we have and i'm not including Lallana in that statement.

 

Yep, I'd like him as well.
