I was asked a couple of weeks ago by my Doctor why I thought I was fat, he nearly fell off his chair when I said "I'm fat because I'm a lazy ****. who eats too much".

Maybe Annie's song by John Denver and slip the orange fella over me bonce.

    Endex.

    Your way sounds too painful.

Actually John, my solution to weight loss would be surgical.

What good would focus groups be? The seat change was a business decision communicated poorly; unfortunate for some but eggs and omelettes comes to mind. The poor merchandising and concourse food offering are nothing more than business nativity which should embarrass anyone with one eye on their CV credibility.

The name-change rumbles on, it takes place regardless of opposition, it insults everyone, including the authority than forbade it. So what would a focus group, a consultation group, a steering committee, or whatever you wish to call it, achieve, except more humiliating contempt from the owners?

So where do those who care go from here. For me it will probably have to revert back to non-attendance at home games, and probably most games. The whole issue has become pathetic and I find my desire to attend becoming severely eroded. There are plenty of opportunities to watch football at lower levels, not to mention other ways of spending my time.

In one way or another, Allam will win, either that or the club will collapse; the club is now being moved into a level of indebtedness that holds the best of intentions to ransom. If you attend, then you condone, it is inescapable; it's easily deniable, it's easily pushed aside by continuing to campaign, but what was Hull City AFC is becoming something other.

The futility has always been there, it won't go away with this owner.

Read a few comments, looked to be taking the turn of a happy ramble so skipped most.

It seems many on here are confusing facebook with twatter.

Publishing your every move and meal is twatter territory.

Skimmed through the first page of this topic and then clicked on the last page. It went from OLM and Happy throwing hand bags at each other to a discussion on weight loss, doctors and laxatives....

RE the Facebook page OLM, the club also own the brand/names (hull tigers, hull city tigers). As a business/company the first thing to do is to protect that brand on the main source of reaching your audience (social media) and Hull City have done just that by registering the "Hull Tigers" Facebook URL. That's all it is, a "URL" as the Hull Tigers page redirects to the "Hull City AFC page".

It's a non story, get over it.

This is certainly true and I have some sympathy with the staff, though unfortunately, a little less every time I get more Hull City Tigers bollocks dropping into my inbox/letterbox.

The lack of discussion with the fans, in fact it's a complete disregard for the fans, is causing deep resentment and i'm afraid only get worse as this ridiculous name change bollocks starts all over again.

Some people are not renewing purely on a point of principal, because the renewal forms refuse to acknowledge the name of the club, many of them season ticket holders for 10-15 years. It's desperately sad.

I think you've read a lot more into my post than intended. To break down mistrust the club should talk to fans. We have a number of established groups, although none of them, with the possible exception of Amber Nectar, have come close to how I feel about being moved to the North Stand. If the club did talk to fans groups I would expect one or all of them to discuss the issues more widely with the rest of us.

My glass is almost always half full, until someone convinces me its half empty.

Both pages are headed with the name of the company that owns Hull City. In both cases the club is identified as the limited company. The current page leaves out the word Limited or Ltd from the company name. Other than that the only difference is the club thought on 10 November 2013 the company was still called The Hull City Association Football Club (Tigers) Limited.

I think one of the major benefits of Nick Thompson's FLAG, was that it included representatives of all the City sites, the OSC, along with bloggers/tweeters, so at least the discussions were reaching a wide audience.

The only problem was, Nick wanted to switch people around for each meeting, so it wasn't possible to follow up anything discussed at the previous meeting, which was a bit daft.

In my view, the club could be forgiven for thinking that they have consulted with fans on the stand move, and the apparent high handedness and disregard could be extended to some of the people who sat on the fans group too. They let us down badly on this stand move mess.

But what percentage of fans are on-line? I also think the FLAG group needed a better mechanism for taking fans views as opposed to just pushing the personal views of a few individuals. I understand it was the agenda of some, rather than the group in principle that got it closed.

I don't really think that's fair, the FLAG were told that there was a desire to move the away fans, just as there had been with previous regimes going back ten years, but we weren't told it was actually happening, or given any detailed information on what those plans were.

I agree with that, except the glass is always full. It's sometimes got more air than liquid, but it's always full.<ok>

    Neither were we as fans.
As it clearly was on the cards and brought up at meetings, I would have expected a fans group to get the view of fans, not for some to say nothing because they liked the idea, or for some to indirectly support it, still with no mandate from the fans they represent.

The only times I saw it hinted at, I was among those pointing out the obvious flaws and the detail wasn't dissimilar to what's been foisted on us.
