He's a decent player and not just a lamp post No.9. Age is obviously against him, and he's not one I'd have thought you'd have gone for, but I reckon he'll do OK for you tbh.
I think he'll do well, it's a dream move for him and we know he'll give his all. He adds to the squad strength and that's exactly what we need.
He's the type if forward that peaks later though. Players like Owen, Torres etc peak mid 20's while they are quick and decline as start to lose that. Players like lambert, Zola, Bergkanp that don't rely on pace but intelligence peak later on once they've learnt their trade. Similar with big target players like Crouch, Drogba, Sutton etc. Think well only get 2 or 3 years out of him but he gives is a cheap better option and can them improve other more important areas this window with forwards being on agenda next year.
He's a decent back up for a good price. Not really who I would have picked- but is certainly an improvement on Aspas and will score more goals than Borini. Odd choice considering age- but I'm willing to let him prove himself before judging.
A good signing for a good price who will serve a useful purpose for the next two years. Nothing more to add

Cheers for that, Luv. I couldn't help smiling all the way through that video. I'm made up for the lad.
he's not as grey as i remembered.... I love how our media guys have made the mean an integral part of LFC induction.. somehow it is just funny
He really does seem just like any of us. A huge fan who has got the dream to play for the club he loves. I hope he does well just as much for himself as for the club. He talks about getting his emotions in check and I hope he managed to control them and not get too caught up in the moment. Think his debut in the league at Anfield should be a 10-15 minute cameo where he can just come to terms with it, live the moment and then after that realise he needs to forgot it's Liverpool and just do what he does. Made up for him though and I'm sure he'll do well
You've got one very good player. He has a good touch and fantastic vision to play others in on goal. Good luck Rickie and LFC. And if you do get Lallana so be it. There will be no hard feelings on my part as both have made a massive contribution in getting us from the bottom of League 1 to 8th in the Premiership.
Those of us who are very old might remember a Manchester City player called Tony Book who was plucked from non-league and plunged into City's team back in the late 60s and led them to several years of glory well into his mid-thirties. Hope Rickie can do the same for you.
Well your gain is certainly our loss. Saints leading goalscorer for the last 4 seasons and almost half of our goals this season just ended, were either scored by Rickie or made by him. How the hell are we meant to plug that gap? Good move for him but ludicrous for us. Saints being dismantled by the threatened Sky Four...... F*cking hate football........
