also managed Ibrahimovic at Ajax, so he's used to giant strikers.

 

Spoke to Danny Ings' Dad this morning and he told me there is definite interest from Saints and Everton. As a side note, His Dad is a builder with the inventive company title ' BUILD INGS' .

 

Lambert goes to his home team and Ings to his home team

 

I generally think British players are massively overpriced and not worth it.

But in this case Ings is a good age, and the hometown connection adds a little extra and maybe there's a bit of extra chemistry with Jay Rodriguez so he actually would be worth paying a little extra for. I could dig it.

 

Yeah I heard we had made contact with him a few weeks back. A mate of mine is a friend of Danny.

 

Well surely any interest in Ings is on hold while we have no manager, right?

Ings chances of coming may have dealt a blow by a (probable) foreign manager coming in....won't know him and may prefer someone he does know. I'll be glad when the manager is appointed so we can all start spending the millions

My Croatian friend just met Dejan. He told him he's best off staying at Southampton, and Dejan replied that "I am staying".


Now I know that it's a bit "my mate says", but hell, it's something!!!!

 

Well that is Fantastic if accurate., Dejan Was my favourite player,(bar lallana) And a pivotal player for our squad.

 

I hate to put a dampener on things, but I was told by someone who works at Saints that Pochettino wanted to stay at Saints.

 

Well actually he'd just met Modric and posted a picture of them on Facebook. I replied - "If you see Dejan, tell him he's best off staying at Southampton". He replied, "I just have" with a picture of Dejan with his kids. I asked "and what did he say" he then replied "He said 'I am staying'".

Good enough for me!

EDIT: When I say "his kids" I mean my friends kids. No idea if Dejan has any.

I met a quite a few holiday makers from Canada today, & they all had the same dry cough. I think bird flu may well be back.
See, Saints troubles don't seem that significant now, do they?
