    Sterling more valuable than rooney lol.

    Give it 12 months and sterling will have been sold for 7million to stoke or west ham. Its 12 months since the general feeling on here was that he was ****e.

    And rooneys contribution is more than sterlings will ever be. Rooney is everywhere, runs a game and is the engine. Hes the equivalent of suarez and gerrard combined.

    From one absurd statement (Sterling more valuable than Rooney), to another (Rooney is the equivalent of Suarez and Gerrard combined).

    Its about what he brings to the side. Gerrard was liverpools engine and suarez was the match winner.

    Rooney is both our engine and match winner.

    So Everton fans (amongst others) laughed at us for signing Lambert (32) who had a great season and finishing high up on both the scoring and assisting charts, but today they're linked with Shaun Maloney (31) <laugh>

    Bet they'll shut up now...
