Good post Vic Norway - I'm afraid you have just lost the plot; you accuse others of scare stories but it is your modus operandi - so similar to the Socialist Workers Party method of propaganda - give out big lies and people will not know where to start to refute you. You did not answer how you can square living in another country and working there with your wish to deny others that same right in the UK By the way Newark will almost certainly go UKIP - Britain has a fine history of fringe parties winning protest votes in by-elections on the back of excessive publicity for their cause (Farage is on TV every day now smiling and holding his pint) In the subsequent General election those by-elections tend to revert to proper parties.
Morning all Bright and sunny here so off for a day's cricket. Hampshire top of the table at the moment so hoping for another win.
Simple mate anyone can work in Norway if you have the skills they need same as NZ , America and most other countrys , I am denying no one anything! As far as big lies to what are you referring , to Newark going UKIP Hope your right , but is a huge ask to overturn the previous tory majority! incidentally it is interesting to hear Milliband wanting to limit immigration and Cameron threatening to take us out EU if a certain individual is made EU president.
There was a thread started to discuss the European elections and political stuff..can we keep it there? Afternoon all from a warm and dry bandit country....
Afternoon all. 1st June and spent all day outside. I always enjoy it when it is warm enough to eat outside. A glass or two with a meal in the fresh air always seems to be what life is about here.
Hope the results are good tomorrow Leo. Last night I watched Jonny Wilkinson play his last game. The way that he played reminded me of all the great performances that he put in for England. Today he has been interviewed countless times and despite having a good command of the French language he cannot get rid of his English accent. It is no wonder that people pick up my nationality as soon as I speak French. It seems that while he was playing in England he suffered from periods of severe depression, but over the past five years while living over here that problem has gone away. Certainly in Toulon they really love him and have forgiven him for the times he helped beat the national team. He has wondered for the past two years if he could continue, but has gone out on a high with wins against Sarries and Castres. His only worry now is can he be a good coach if that is what he does. Certainly he has been a great player and will be remembered by many people around the world.
Good morning all from a wet and muggy Weston-super-Mare! I guess as it's muggy today, tomorrow will be tuggy! Have a good day!
Thank you both. Good results - cancer is still stable. Slight problem with the remaining kidney but probably nothing that drinking more water will not help sort out - the kidney function does vary a bit Off to the Isle of Wight for a few days tomorrow then down to Wales at the weekend for a few days to meet some more estate agents to try to push the sale along
Delighted for you both. Enjoy the IOW and you could suggest to the agents that they try the celebrity house approach.
So glad things are looking good Leo, please give you're good lady our love and best wishes and for you too!
