Just a quick question... Why do we let the spuds post on the Arsenal board when their mods delete comments from Us? I have posted a few different opinions and the poor bastards just can't take a difference of opinion. Who moderates their awful board and why do they hate Piskie so much? What a bunch of moody ****ers they have over there... Is it just a case of little man syndrome?
They do seem to take everything that an Arsenal fan says to them as a personal attack . Very strange. Certain spurs fans post on here some banter and its taken with a pinch of salt but over there .... forget it. Everything you say is a " wum attempt " crackers !
The Spurs posters who post here are a friendly enough, so there's no problems. There is though always a dynamic between Arsenal and Spurs fans which is that of Spurs' deference, whether conscious or not, to us as being the bigger club and having the bragging rights. And that means that they can't really ever wum us, so naturally a lot of their posters adopt a friendlier attitude with us. The problem with posting on the Spurs board is that, conscious of this dynamic, when discussing simple facts and history about the difference in stature between our clubs, it can be met with defensive response and your comments misinterpreted as wumming. That can lead to a siege mentality where others, feeling threatened join in the barracking.

You know it's true though. Just underneath the exterior of the bravado that some spurs fans bravely attempt, there is the nagging acceptance that Arsenal are the bigger and more successful club. This is why we tolerate you lot and the same reason why so many spurs fans have a hissy fit at Gooners on your board.
Bergkampspilot was welcome on our board (honest) although I'm sure he posted a very strange thread title which got deleted, unless I imagined it! I think he was getting himself wound up and then if any spurs fan replied they where said to be wound up? Maybe I'm wound up just typing this, I better calm down!
