If Harry wants him and he wants to come to us, then I would say, yes, please! He would give us the option of 442 or 4411. 442 with him on the bench or 4411 with him playing behind Charlie.
Saints spent £36m and £37m in their last two seasons, a lot of it wasted on dodgy foreigners and get nothing off opposition fans yet we get them on there having a go at us spending £3.5m!
I guess your right when comparing to southampton but they built their club really well and brought through good youth players, thats probably why they don't get the stick. That 40k a week figure is really what looks really stupid for a player that hasn't been able to establish himself in the prem, but if thats not the case then fair enough. I still wouldn't fancy paying that transfer fee for some idiot that has big attitude problems (or has done any time I have seen him). imo he'll always be a player not quite good enough for the prem because of inconsistency more than anything but maybe too good for the championship on his day.

He'd be playing for a CL side if he didn't have attitude problems. We did quite well with a player like that before, adel taarabt. Sadly, 40k a week is nothing now in the PL with all this money.
