London Broncos v Hull att. 1,135

I believe Walton Street market on a sunday attracts better crowds.

Fair play to Cas, their 7,196 crowd v Rovers represents a decent proportion of their population.

I suppose it's like Rovers losing to Hessle or Hedon.

Last one out turn off the lights <ok>

The Hull clubs usually take about 3, 000 to Castleford. Castleford's average attendance is probably around 5,000

That's great support from our clubs- it's almost 60 miles away.

The only time that makes me want to watch Rugby league is when it's the QLD. v NSW State of Origin or Australia v whoever. In general it doesn't excite me

Over here it's an employment joint scam between Mudbank and HDM to artifically inflate the profile of the game, create a 'demand' for news of it and then 'supply' that demand for it.

Cas v St Helens 8,505, Cas v Rhinos 9,208. So either they take more away than Rovers or Cas people aren't interested and stay away when the world famous Rovers are in town. Alternatively all these figures bandied about regarding the huge away followings are bollox.
How many FC fans were at the Broncos game?

Any sport that plays at "Mend-A-Hose Jungle" shouldn't be taken seriously.

On a recent visit to China I was amazed at the amount of "Cas Tigers" shirts on display.

    Mend a hose?

Surely buying a new one is just a cheap an option?

I don't understand the negativity towards Rugby league on this board. We all know football is a bigger sport and played globally. Rugby League is a northern sport in the UK with smaller crowds, so what? It can still be good to watch. I have a pass for Rovers and City and like many others enjoy watching both sports. I was at the Cas game yesterday, I would guess we had about 2000 there. What I would say is that despite a truly dismal display the crowd got behind the team all game and stayed at the end to clap them off. Something some of our supporters could learn from.

You may be underestimating the reasonable pricing of mending hoses within the West Yorkshire village area.

Why do you care though? So what if some rugby fans don't like football. Each to their own. I don't think the rugby affects football much in this city at all.

When you consider FC are only playing away games at the moment whilst our pitch gets re-done so away is the only chance to see them and London away this time of year makes an attractive weekend then that is a disgrace, exactly how many went?

City have taken 60,000 to London this year with the 2 Wembley trips and Palace, West Ham and Fulham.

It as affected our club massively and still does economically.

On the plus side, our club doesn't have Edna Lard types attching themselves to it.

The animosity is mostly down, I think, to the ones of them who do profess to also follow the beautiful game, being "fans" with no sense of irony, of TWS, Liverpool etc.

i think population wise its better to compare it to Beverley
though i don't think the folk of Beverley can get behind their town for anything at all .
Nope , i dont think the place has anything to get behind locally
