I've seen the first one, wouldn't say it was comedy, maybe black comedy. Although the concept is funny - average guy wanting to be superhero - it's very blood and guts. I didn't like it at all, but am older so maybe not the best person to take notice of.

Yeah it's really funny. I thought it was gonna be funnier/more jokes with a ****/non storyline. But it has a good story line and the film has a good balance. There's a couple of great cameos too.

  7. Top top film that <ok>

Kick Ass isn't a comedy imo, if its meant to be then its **** lol Its alright and watchable, not seen the second and I'm not sure how they've managed to make a second put of it either.

Watching the Pokemon movie (The first), solid 9.5/10, would of been 0.5 more if there were more legendaries.

Knew what was coming but wasn't expecting the pop... served the daft twat right really. Wonder if they'll stick to the books with what happens now.

Finished the second season of Arrow. Pretty impressed to be honest, loving seeing more an more DC characters introduced. The Island stuff was a bit of an anti-climax, as I thought it was better done in the first series. Still, good enough for me to await the 3rd season.

Watching Boardwalk Empire at the moment, it's a bit slow at starting but it seems okay so I'll persevere.

Also, stop the spoilers for GoT you batards! I've not downloaded it yet! <grr>

    Namaste, fleshpole smokers!

Sorry CCC, nothing too spoilerish there but I know what its like trying to avoid spoilers.
After season 1 I gave up and read the books, at least that way I spoilt it for myself rather than some other gimp getting the satisfaction.

Boardwalk is a lot slower paced than say The Sopranos or The Wire. But stick with it, the action does ramp up especially in season 2 onwards.....

Thanks, Bodanki. <ok> I'll stick with it. I never give up on a series. More fool me.
