I'm sorry but they could show the team captain more respect by at least answering and saying that they're busy but will be in touch soon.

 

AL does his business through AB now, eh? Concentrate on England, Adam and let Saints sort out their managerial issues. Disrespect? I see it from Lallana in spades. Club captain has said nothing to support the club since Poch left or to settle fan nerves.

 

If that's true t's just really really stupid. If you want him to stay then you need some kind of positive relationship. Ignoring his calls is only ever going to piss him off.

 

Well, maybe you dont know the whole story, so perhaps it is not wide to judge the club in a bad way when they may not be doing anything wrong...

To be fair, AL should get on with it and concentrate on England. If we dont want to sell, tough **** on him - he signed a long term deal and if he gets sold then perhaps, as the holders of his contract, the Club will decide when, how much and to who.

 

Perhaps they are fed up with answering his calls when they have stated their position. A number of calls ignored suggests he has had some answered. However, when you get conversations passed on via a third party (Blackmore) who may have been filled in not by Adam but by his agent, we perhaps shouldn't analyse wording too closely. He willingly signed a long contract and was happy at the time...so I think he has to wait as we are entitled to get the best deal for Saints. It's hardly as if he only has a year to go, is it? I'm getting fed up with these footballers...not as if he has been kept in servitude, is it?

 

Seems to me Lallana is just buttering us up, through Blackmore, before slapping in a transfer request. But hey, that's just me...

These buggers are happy enough to get the stability and comfort of large pay cheques and long terms deals so maybe he will have to rough this one out a little, and if it doesnt go his way then also tough.

To be fair, we dont even know if he is hassling for a move - my view is let's see what happens with the new manager situation as I dont believe anyone will go prior.

 

Not sure about that - his actions if true are hardly buttering us up - I imagine there would be a real split between us all on here over if Lallana was being treated unfairly or not...

 

A number of calls ignored with Lallana. Cork and Fonte both meeting with utter silence when trying to find out whether the club is interested in signing them long-term. It's all a bit coincidental that they're all seeing and feeling the same thing if it's the players' fault.

 

Cork and Fonte, like everyone else, should know we are not going to commit to much whilst we are waiting to confirm our new management set-up. This isnt unusual in the slightest and they must know that having been involved in football for many years.

Perhaps the players should just gossip between themselves like most other people do at work...and not go squealing to the press etc. in the meantime.

Funny, because Cork tweeted some lovely pictures of him and his family on holiday today. He didn't look like he was here, down on his knees, begging for a contract extension.

For me, these guys have to wait until the new manager comes in. If you don't get answers at that point, please,kick off - but there is no need to sort out any of this right now. Wait one week!

 

I think he is hassling or you wouldn't hear a peep from him. He has been patient up till now, but certainly hasn't made us think he wants to stay. Lambert going has just made him up his game. Saints position is the 25 mill is not enough and we have a manager coming in....how about you concentrate on the World Cup (which incidentally we helped you to get to). Heaven knows what poison is dripping into Luke's ear. He probably calls Kreuger who doesn't want to get involved in the football business side of it. Les Reed is probably tougher than he looks, so he gets nowhere. We hold the moral high ground and the cards...Adam can just wait.

 

I'm sure they work full days and can carry out multiple tasks in that time. These guys should be speaking to Adam; it is a really stupid thing to do to let an unhappy player stew like that.

 

I've been party to workplaces that practically reached open revolt because management brushed them off; in one case it ended with a bunch of employees going to the labour board to spur action. Why would footballers be any different in their desire to be heard and feel wanted? A large paycheque does not a robot make.

 

He probably gets some answers...he just doesn't like them. I have no doubt he has been told our position.
