He'd be a very good purchase, but wages would be the sticking point. He's winding down his career, so going to a tougher, more competitive league (PL) for lower wages and less playing time might not make sense to him. MLS might appeal, or the J-league, perhaps?
doubt it would happen even if anyone wanted him. according to skysports he has received an offer that is irresistible, so sounds like he is chasing the money to the states, probably what lampard will do as well.
He's already been offered a contract at another club which is too good to refuse apparently (City's American club) so no chance anyway. Don't think at his age and time of his career a move to the Premiership would have suited him. Don't think he would have been able to cope with a whole season.
Right so lambert is 32 and "past it" according to tobes who strangely never replied to the fact that mr Barry was 32 joining his club David villa is also 32 why the f would ANYONE sign two 32 year old strikers to play back up.... Makes zero sense especially as one of his prime assets was a bit of pace
My thoughts are clear totally ignoring the Mls and it's still a big no. We've apparently made the lambert bed so now we lay in it good or bad
As a lesbian I take offence.... Fanny flaps is a better description of this lot You though are a nob jockey of the highest degree

£18m plus further £2m in performance add ons... Seems a lot for a new left back... can't say I've seen him play enough to know if it's worth it or not though.
