We got bored of playing training like games of attack V defence so let the other team have a couple. We gave you the same opportunities but you couldnt manage a goal, even with the great Soldado! Ours were close games though and the agg 9-0 score line lies
The funny thing is that you think you're mocking us but all you end up sounding like a parody of Liverpool fans' delusion.
Im only pissing about fella, chill. Plenty of mocking of Liverpool with this thread Like I say chill out, anyone would think you'd spent a windfall badly
If I was di Maria and Madrid wanted to sell me to a London club called Tottenham with a manager called Avb. I would feel hurt! Although if I was VDV and playing for Madrid and they wanted to sell me to a London club called Tottenham and they had Redknapp in charge then I would jump at the chance!
Apparently Liverpool have made an offer of £25million for Lallana. ------------------ http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/30/liverpool-adam-lallana-southampton-25m-new-bid Liverpool have attempted to break the impasse over Adam Lallanaâs proposed move to Anfield by tabling a £25m offer for the Southampton captain. Anfield officials have been in talks with their south coast counterparts over a deal for the attacking midfielder for almost a fortnight but have been unable to reach agreement on a fee. Liverpool initially valued Lallana at £20m but Southampton, who have to pass a 25% sell-on fee to their captainâs former club Bournemouth, are holding out for £30m. As is the case with Anfield-bound Rickie Lambert, Liverpool are keen to conclude the transfer of a priority for the manager, Brendan Rodgers, before the World Cup. Whether Southampton will soften their stance following the increased bid remains to be seen but Liverpool are determined to push through a deal amid rival interest in Lallana from Tottenham Hotspur. The England international is a target for several clubs but his preference is to join Liverpool.
Lallana is way over priced at £25m, I hope Spurs are not considering bidding at those inflated prices. He has had one good season in the PL and is a £15m player at best, he could be another Downing.
A poor defence? What was it on aggregate? 9-0? Anyway, can't wait for Lambert and Lallana to sign for Spurs now
Lallana is a good player, but plays in an area that we're already covered in. As to Lambert, we already have one ageing, overpriced striker, we don't need another one, thanks...
All this early Mouser transfer activity could be a sign of Goofy`s departure, getting their business done early so as to not be ripped off once the Sewerez money is in. The same happened with us when Bale went and there could be a deal for Goofy already in place, with the understanding that it is kept quiet until the Mickey`s have completed their incoming transfer business.
More "subtle" hints from Suarez to Real!.... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...r-has-a-predisposition-for-spain-9466016.html
To be honest Suarez leaving doesn't fill me with the dread it did last summer. More players have stepped up this season that we could deal without him easier. What scares me is the thought of how well (or not) we'd replace him. I'd want another star signed and the rest spent wisely, maybe on younger players who won't come through for a year or two, but who would've been expensive normally - like say Will Hughes.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, 27, would find it "very difficult to say no" to Real Madrid if they made a move for him this summer, according to his lawyer. (Source: Independent) Oh, dear! Real are not tapping-up quickly enough for Goofy, so he's started his own campaign. Looks like Lambert is Goofy's replacement.
Could be worse, you could be a player linked with going to tottenham: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/rea...urts-to-be-linked-with-tottenham-9459134.html Hopefully a top club come in for him, that he is happier with.
He didn't say that, though. Usual media bullshit. Marca: Did you see yourself leaving Madrid at any moment?” Angel Di Maria: “They (the media) say a lot of things and sometimes you think too much about them and it hurts when you are giving your all for the club. Things come out like ‘he’s going to Tottenham,’ or ‘he’s staying.’ These are difficult times for a player. It’s difficult to detach yourself (from the speculation). I was calm as I knew I wanted to continue with Madrid.”
Reckon Suarez has missed the boat now with get real Madrid. The CL win will placate their plastics, so Perez doesn't have to spend for a while.
True. Plus, why on earth would Marca want to spend to the kind of stupid money that 'Pool will be demanding for a player who's probably had the best year of his career? As I've said before, next season Goofy will get found out, he'll be a year older, and his re-sale value will plummet. I'd much rather that 'Pool keep hold of Goofy, that cash in with some rich club's money and strengthen to levels close to our squad.
Don't tell me... it was the bit where I said that I want 'Pool to keep Goofy that made you gasp, right?
