Not sure that really helps us much to be honest. It Tottenham is indeed tempting to Lallana it might make him less inclined to push for a Liverpool deal. That would buy us some time to change his mind or at least give us a bit of leverage to play Tottenham and Liverpool against each other.

Although I never expected Tottenham to bid on Lallana anyway. They are sitting on like 50m of useless midfield with exciting potential. Have to think MP would feel it is smarter to get those players going than to try and sell low while buying high to replace them.

 

Is Lallana actually pushing for a leave at all..? He just says that he wants his future resolved. That means he wants some certainty, that's all. And we all would like a bit more or that.

 

If he stays give him the no7 shirt....

 

I think that means that he wants a move...after all if he wanted to stay, there is no problem as he is on a long contract.
