I actually thought he provided way more in the games he played than Johnson did.

I think you'll be up against it trying to secure his signature, as there'll be some very strong competition for him

    Yep,good acquisition.

Some nice touches in that vid,he's comfortable on the ball and his range of passing is underated.

That 50yd ball inside the full back around the 3 min. is superb.

Could turn out to be one of the buys of the season taking price into account.

Arsenal if they had any sense would buy a Benzema or someone like that, last thing they need is another midfield player.

does anyone rate Fabregas above what they have already in Ramsey and Wilshere?

don't think there is a lot in it personally, so be pointless for them, esp at the price.

Apparently Arsenal get first choice anyway.

Cissokho was defensively sound bar the game at the Emirates. Dross on the ball though but was the best defensive full back we had at the club.

Fabregas - he's had a poor season by his standards but he is a quality player, extremely creative and would suit our style. Would I rather have Lallana for £25m or Fabregas for £30m? (excluding wages).

But more importantly, it would wind up the goooners!

I'm not sure Arsenal are in for him - they have more pressing areas to strengthen i.e striker and right back.

This is Wenger though, they'll be silly enough to go and buy another midfielder even though it's quite clear they need a top quality striker.

  14. Fabregas was best at CM imo. I don't think he's as good in a AM role. Him and Hendo would offer a decent pairing on front of Gerrard/HM player. Better option than Lallana even if he is more expensive.

  15. Wenger can't resist a midfielder (unless they're defensive)

Exactly, and if it means he stops a rival buying him then he might do it.

Personally, I would prefer Lallana to Fabregas. Fabregas looks lethargic at times, and wouldn't help put a shift in defensively.

  18. Thats the modern day Cesc that is asked to be attackong. The original Fabregas was full of energy.

He's a better player than Lallana, but I feel Lallana would fit better with our team and squad. Also, Fabregas's a bit of a . . . <diva>!

  20. I know he's getting on a bit now but would anyone consider David Villa? #freebie
