All the best,Sombrero,in the recovery stakes......make sure there's no horsing-about and you'll have neigh-problems!!!
You`ll have to be careful getting too excited. Still OK for you to go to SJP though. All the best though mate. Take care.
Even as a relative newby, know that Sombrero is held in pretty high regard on this board,so best wishes on his recovery.Just to lighten the mood (true story),the laddie has cystic fibrosis so is a regular at the RVI in newcastle. Won't have a word said about the staff, who are all fantastic, and treat the kids as if they were their own,but about 8/9 yrs ago the laddie was in just before christmas and we got the "telly" visit by some of the mags. Well, the bairn was in the first cubicle as they came down the ward and as Sheeerar walked in and knelt down beside him for the good telly shot the sister said "go on owen, tell us who your favorite footballer is". Well, the bairn looked at her, then looked at me,then turned to shearer and said "KEVIN PHILLIPS"!!! In all fairness to shearer he took it very well, and Bellamy was in the background pissing himself with laughter
Stay well by following the vet's instructions - "no excitement, so keep watching NUFC and you will be fine".
Bloody hell Hat, good to hear you're on the mend mate. A couple of years ago I had an epileptic fit, fell & smashed my head which resulted in a brain hemorrhage. I ended up in Newcastle RVI for 8 days, can't praise the staff their highly enough, brilliant people. Take care marra & keep tight ahowld.
After the transfusion he has even more Mackem blood in him than before ....... another couple of attacks and he's ours!
I'm surprised you black and white bastards even have a heart! I wish you a full and speedy recovery, Somb
Thanks for all the comments lads. I'm humbled. I'm fine now, getting the stent put in wide awake is something I wouldn't recommend like. Reckon I'll just have to take it easy for a couple of weeks. Cheers again. Much appreciated!
