Does anybody think that this lad would be worth a punt?, he is along the same lines as Peltier and was also a top performer in L1 last year, here is what SkySprorts says about him;

Highly-rated defender Adam Smith has put a huge dent in Bournemouth's hopes of bringing him back for next season, with his heart set on playing in the Championship.

The 20-year-old impressed during a season-long loan with the Cherries from Tottenham last season, helping the club qualify for the play-offs in their first season back in the third tier.

However, with his contract at Spurs set to run out this summer, a number of Championship clubs are keen to win the race for his signature.

Cherries manager Lee Bradbury has previously confirmed that they have made the highly-rated full-back a 'good offer' to bring him back to Dean Court, but Smith feels ready to test himself at the next level.

"When I went there (Bournemouth) I did well and we went on a winning streak and started to climb up the table pretty quickly," he told skysports.com.

"Obviously, we managed to finish inside the play-off places and to lose in the semi-finals was disappointing, but overall it was a very good season for the fans and the club.

    Test
"I've done League Two and League One, so I do feel that next season is the right time for me to test myself at the next level, which is the Championship.

"I think that I can play at that level and hopefully I can replicate the form that I showed for Bournemouth last year in the Championship, so I'm definitely looking at that level next season.

"There have been League One and Championship clubs showing interest and making offers for me, so I'll see what is on the table when I come back off holiday and make the decision what is best for me then.

"I'm 20 now and I feel that I've matured a bit having gone out on loan a few times and at the end of the day it is a short career in football, so I want to play as many first-team games and go as far as I can in the game.

"I feel that next season is a big one for me and this decision about staying at Spurs or moving elsewhere is an important one in that sense."

Don't really know much about him. Maybe we need a bit more experience at the back though?

Emilio - quick run down for you!

Smith is a product of the Tottenham Hotspur youth academy. On 8 August 2009 he made his Football League debut for Wycombe Wanderers away at Charlton Athletic.[2]

After his short loan spell which ended on 5 September, he was selected to represent the England Under 19s in the 2010 European qualifactions‎ in Slovenia. Smith made his England debut and played 90 minutes in the final group game against Slovakia which England won 2–0.[3]

On 20 November 2009 Smith joined League Two outfit Torquay United on loan until January 2010.[4]

On 23 September 2010, Smith joined Bournemouth on a month loan deal.[5] He started his spell, against Carlisle United in which he won a sixty-fourth minute penalty, which new team-mate Michael Symes scored. The game finished 2-0 to Bournemouth and left them third in the table.

Smith was then part of the Bournemouth side who lost 2-0 at St. Mary's in a south coast derby with Southampton. The youngster was sent off late on following two bookable offences. He missed the trip to Brighton but returned for Bournemouth's 3-2 win against MK Dons, keeping up his 100% win ratio. This run was brought to an end when Smith played in a 2-1 defeat against Colchester at Dean Court on October 30, 2010. On 1 April Smith scored his first goal for the South Coast side in the 94th minute against Peterborough at London Road coming back from 3-1 down with 20 minutes to go after Steve Fletchers bullet header gave Bournemouth the lead.

Adam Smith has been a handy little player on football manager over the last couple of seasons. And we all know they are never wrong... Tomi Petrescu was one one of the best players in the game about 6/7 years ago... Look at him now.
