There's a difference in bending over backwards and giving the Allams a Football Stadium that cost around £44 million of council taxpayers money.

What's the most important criteria, what it cost the council then, what it's costing the council now or what it will cost the council in the future?

Now as I understand it the council are willing to sit down and discuss the Stadium and the land around it but Allam is not willing BECAUSE THEY WONT DO IT THE WAY HE WANTS. Another example of it's the Allam way or no way. He is an embarrassment to the club.

Brady- any bid, thats any ****ing bid would be put to a referendum of the electorate.

You're arguing with people who've met the council, met Allam and know exactly what the score is, you've met no-one and just keep making a twat of yourself because there isn't an article about it in the HDM yet. <doh>

<laugh> Like **** I am. So you are saying Brady isnt going to put it to a referendum of the electorate after quite clearly saying it in 2011 and 2013 in the press? GTF
Are you saying TG is sidelined yet is still in the same position and the person Allam would have to deal with?? GTF

    Plus from the article
"The authority has refused to contemplate giving up its ownership of the stadium, which was funded through the initial flotation of its shares in Kingston Communications."

Kinda ****s up what you are trying to say in your oh so secret back room chat.

Has anyone got any official figures about the attraction Hull Fair is supposed to be?
I doubt if it attracts anything like a million visitors.
How does Geraghty know? Does he count them all or is just another wild guess?
I would question if the Fair made any money for the council at all. It certainly takes plenty of cash out of the city.
As for Walton Street being the 'traditional site' for the Fair. That is not true. The original site was down Park Street and the Fair was there considerably longer then it has been at Walton Street.
The 'safeguarding other people who use the KC' means Hull FC. Which is why Geraghty met them in secret and rearranged their lease/rental agreement twice, and no-one is allowed to see or question the agreement.

The article may be a year old but it comes after the articles you've been quoting. Nothing's happened because Assem Allam isn't playing ball. It also supports what I said that the Council wants to dance.

My days of sitting in secret back rooms are over. As is any possibility of a deal between the Council and Assem Allam. When the Council finally realise, they'll develop Walton Street and the Park without him.

True, it's just a shame you're not in possession of any of the facts.

Err no it doesnt but lets not facts get in the way eh. Your article April 19th 2013.
My article 7th May 2013 a referendum. FACTS
"The authority has refused to contemplate giving up its ownership of the stadium, which was funded through the initial flotation of its shares in Kingston Communications."

Allam doesnt want a joint venture with HCC, who would? He isnt about saving the leisure services dept of the council with TG as its head. No other businessmen are, why would they be.

They have done precisely **** all about it for 3 years and will continue to do **** all.

The authority will sell the stadium if they receive an offer and the people of Hull say yes, according to the article you quote. The authority won't receive an offer because the KC costs Assem Allam nothing. The money from Hull City's rent is used to pay the staff, subsidise Hull FC and keep the facilities up to date.

If the authority want to develop the land in time for the City of Culture they will find willing participants. They have spent 3 years trying to get Assem Allam to sign their dance card and time is ticking away. We have less than three years to wait. Maybe 10 months if we include the time required to build whatever it is the council want to put up.

<laugh> What every day? Some of the days? How have they tried? Pigeon telegram what?
What business man would enter into discussion with people who cant negotiate in the first place but have to go and put it to a referendum. Get real.

Let em crack on Allam doesnt want to deal with them and i agree with him.
