They're both at fault and embarrass the city and club.

We are being held back by the current lunacy.

We have already let a massive opportunity slip after failing to make the most of the FACF, which seemed almost a source of embarrassment for both of them.

    Sickening.

This city will remain in the darkages as long as Gerratysaurus is still in power.

Maybe what? ****ing hell, you're even worse than PLT in the arguing this stakes, and thats saying something.

One of TGs biggest faults was he went to a meeting with Dr Allam and treated him with utter contempt. I might not be a multimillionaire businessman but I too wouldn't tolerate that. You might be happy to be mugged off by people displaying their outright contempt for you but I sure as hell wouldn't.

Woah, in an edited interview, which asked him about his experience at Wembley, he did not mention the fans?

OH HANG ON! You're Toure and I claim my fiver! Or are you so angry he didn't wish you happy birthday you're now looking for a new club to support?

    Grow the **** up.

Anybody who thinks this is all about that one meeting is simply daft; the meeting was a calculated staging point in Allam's on going development frustrations - as we all know, if he thinks something is right then it must be.

Yes, I do find it strange that the man who does it all for folk of the city fails to refer to the non-hooligan majority who supported the team at Wembley. I'm fibbing, I don't find it strange, it is so typically in character.

The point you are all missing is the Allams realisation that they were following the wrong business model following promotion to the Premier League.
They do not want to extend or move the stadium now. Priority number 1 is tv money, priority number 2 is income from sponsorship/merchandising.

Doubling the stadium capacity would still put it as the minority income stream whilst the club remain in the Premiership. Relegation is not an option. Which is why Bruce will be backed again in the transfer window.

Are you saying AA made a strategic error and has realised it?

I must say he's not doing very well with his merchandising.

    It's ****.

As regards sponsorship, are we holding out for the big one?

He didn't want to be given the stadium just so he could get a few extra fans in. He wanted to be given the stadium and land around it, plus Walton St. car park so that he could redevelop the area and sell on for a profit.

You forgot to add ......................... ''redevelop the area and sell on for a profit'' AND borrow money against the KC to do so (info as per the original meeting with HCC).

Assem Allams business plan does not follow traditional planning. It is not based on solid financial practices. The plan is based on nothing more than a gamble. How much can I afford to risk set against expected returns. That's why he can change at a whim. If the odds of a return go against him, he changes tack. At the moment he is a happy bunny, but that could all change.

A good and fair question, i've asked in a few threads who will be our shirt sponsor next season. Still no answer.

But don't worry TWT ( from the ladybird book of marketing 21st century edition )

Was in Princes Quay (elongated to Prinny Quay for those who haven't quite grasped the function of abbreviations) today and popped into the club shop.

The arse end of the Adidas supply (2XXL shirts) and **** all else.

Window display was a Wembley flag flanked by 2 showroom dummies both dressed in those unsellable rain capes and both with SB paper masks on.

If someone was trying to take the piss out the club and its fans they couldn't have done a better job.

Inside the shop, pens, diaries, calendars, socks and blow up airbeds for the hols.

Most folk seemed to spend about 10 secs on a recce then shhok their head as they exited.

    Waste of time.

Plenty of tourists and Johnny Foreigners too.

How not to build a brand.

    We're not a brand remember? We're a football club.

Make your mind up, if you can find it.
