Don't even think it's that fella. AJ is on high wages, we broke our wage structure to bring him and he took a pay cut to do that. Much more likely the Daily Fail making up stories again. Some of the ****e that paper has come out with this Summer has been embarrassing. They've liked us and Newcastle with Gomis saying we'll both met his 100k a week wage demands, there is no way in hell either club will pay 100k a week for anybody. The rag is a joke unfortunately. Do you use the NewsNow for your club info? http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier League/Sunderland. It's decent as it brings you everything. But it's funny when you see the fail publish a story and over the next hour the likes of Clubcall and vitelfootball and all the other poor sites copying them
We need to be looking higher than Sunderland players to be fair. Even the better ones don't seem to have a full season in them.
looks like it. stupid of chelsea to let him go really, regardless of age he was still bringing his A game
Unless you count Sterling, Lallana & Rodriguez... Oh and Walcott was only a couple behind despite playig half as many games
I did say combined Adam Johnson: 10 goals+10 assists=20 Raheem Sterling: 10 goals+9 assists=19 Adam Lallana: 10 goal+8 assists= 18 Jay Rodriguez: 17 goals+3 assists= 20 but I did say same position and AJ play's on the right Rodriguez doesn't. So yeah, factually correct my statement.
Based on http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb.html Johnson - 8 goals 5 assists Lallana - 9 & 5 Sterling - 9 & 5 Rodriguez - 15 & 3 Walcott - 5 & 4 but only played 17 times So you weren't correct, unless people from Hull can't add up...
I was correct, we're both right and people from Hull can count. I didn't specify premier league, it was my comment so you can't nominate a specific competition for me, that's just rude fella. What you should say is; 'Ah, I didn't realise you meant all competitions, fair do, in terms of all competitions your stats are indeed correct and it's obviously what you meant in the first place as the stats are correct that way.' Last I looked a season consisted of multiple competitions. We should know, we both progressed to a final So let's not split hairs here, you knew what I meant and you're not very good at being clever. Again an attempt to get on with the people on this board spoilt by an argumentative technicality whore, twisting and sniding to try and manipulate the conversation. You're boring! http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/
Aside from the fact it's obviously bollocks, I'm really not sure about Johnson. I used to really rate him when he first went to Man City and was in the England side. Now he seems less effective and over-confident. Even when he had that good month this season I thought he was getting over-hyped. When Sunderland were getting beat every week later in the season he wasn't even getting picked. I know Poyet's a dick but he must have had a good reason for that. He did an interview moaning that he wasn't being considered for England and he just seemed to have a feeling of entitlement rather than wanting to prove himself. He's obviously a talented player, but I don't think he'd fit in with the ethos at City.
To be fair, the Mirror is often right about us and I don't think £8m for Richards is that bad if we were a top 10 team, really good player but a little out of our league
It was a bollocks stat that wasn't correct. It's like us saying that as Fryatt has one of the best minute to goal ratio that he's our best striker, when he blatantly isn't. They're both misleading...
Just stop digging. He has every right to present all-competition stats and you were wrong to assume he meant Premier League only.
