And I can't believe the lack of adequate reading back you do before commenting. Most people are surprised because of his age, which goes against our previously professed buying policy, and because he's unlikely to force his way into a starting position with the current incumbents. These points, and others, have been discussed with pros and cons being offered, so what's wrong with that? It may be a good buy, but to question it is perfectly reasonable. P.S. If you believe Lambert is a good player and well worth the money, please tell your mate UIR, who seems to think he's yet another example of our "******ed" buying policy.
Blimey, I've just read through this. Here are some view from a saints fan: 1. That united fan is a knob; inferiority complex if ever I saw one and add to that Lambert bullying their back four and scoring both seasons against them! 2. You lot will fall in love with Rickie. He's one of your own. He's the most humble professional footballer you'll hear/see/meet. 3. Lambert is a very talented footballer. He is not your typical physical lump, as he has a very delicate touch, incredible vision and an eye for a good pass. Suarez will love him. 4. This is Rickie's dream and for £4m and the season or two you'll get from him as an option to your current three will seem like a bargain. 5. Read up on his fairytale career, get your movie buddies to start writing "From Beetroot factory to Brazil" and the get to the bookies and get a tenner on Rickie scoring the goal that wins you the league or the champions league; his story just gets more and more fantasy like! Anyway, I'll bugger off back to wallow and worry about who you're nicking next. Enjoy.
Well said 1. Yes he is a knob and yes Lambo didn't seem to struggle too much against his shower of ****e. 2. He must be absolutely buzzing. 3. As soon as I saw the link to him I thought exactly the same. Lambert will be a great foil for Suarez and/or Studge. Plus he's got just what we lacked against some of the more Chelsea-esque 10 men behind the ball type teams. 4. If we can shift Aspaz for the same as we bring in Lambert then we've improved the squad straight away at a cost of next to nothing. 5. He's made for Prem footy and I for one am looking forward to seeing him bang his first one in Kop end.....he'll ****ing love it. Now if we're talking fairytales then he'll bang in the league winning goal.....at Anfield.....Kop end.....against the blueshite 6. When we sign Lallana we'll have our very own Super Lamballana (that ones for the locals)
Lambert is a good player for southampton or the liverpool we saw for years prior to this season. For a top 4 team, even as back up. Poor option. No other top 6 club would have ever considered him. Seems completely pointless.
Morning you southern pansy. Take your head out of the collective arse of the liverpool board. Could you imagine arsenal fans sucking up to ciry as they stripped them of player after player. Sad really. Im sure once you are relegated next season you will be here to thank liverpool for their help. You can thank united as well for taking shaw off your hands. I would advise you look up interiority complex as well as you seem confused about its meaning.
Effectively this is lambert retiring. And gerrez, the southern pansy saints fan can shove his head up your collective arses as deep as he likes. Its like when the swansea fans did it and look how that turned out down the line. I'll leave the sentimental nonsense to you lot. The fact is the transfer is madness. We once let robbie savage go. He turned out half decent. A real warrior. We didnt think about signing him though.
They were aggressive towards us from day one and credit to them, they've stuck to it Edit: you could do with Savage now, he'd be exactly what you need
Just had a glance at the saints board. Luckily the rest of them have no interest in sniffing your backsides. They realise liverpool are looking to tear their club apart and are not happy. Which is to be expected. Spurs United Chelsea Liverpool All vultures in saints fans eyes.
True. Hes got that continental flair (no europe makes Wales abroad now ) and hes a midfielder. Win win!!
Not normally but then, I think the saints fans realise the media are just linking all their players somewhere
Saints will go down next season. Sad as i like them but they are going to be torn to shreds this summer. Hopefully qpr save them by being as useless as usual.
I don't think they'll be torn apart. Once they sell one of Shaw or Lallana they won't want to sell anyone else. Just hope its Shaw that goes as I don't want to see us spending £25 on Lallana.
