Looks like Ben Haim is off to QPR! Thats the latest rumour doing the rounds, but anything regarding his transfer away from FP must be considered a cause for celebration.

As Basil Fawlty once said to Sybil.

Well done Devon - someone who DOESN'T use that annoying 'smiley'.

With regard to Ben Haim, couldn't he take Dickinson with him.......

I wouldn't get too excited, on past form you'll end up having to pay QPR.;)

My point proven - ability of Donko = ability of Dicko.

He had a cracking shot on him too, I remember a few examples where his accuracy let him down.

The only time I can remember where that actually worked was at Bristol City where he smashed into Kitson's foot (miles off target!), and it went in. We still lost but hey ho...

I couldn't tell you the opposition, but I can remember three seperate occassions where he took a shots after bombing down the left, and it narrowly flew over the top of the bar (I think one may have even hit the bar) <laugh>

Even so, I wouldn't have said that he was as bad as some people make out. Yes, he wasn't brilliant, and I wouldn't want him back, but he wasn't awfull.

He hit the bar from about 35 yards out on the wing against Leicester City, but that night we ended up scoring 6. I'd give 10 out of 10 for commitment and attitude but mostly played in headless chicken mode.

I'd really like to address to negative comments about my person; I will concede that a proffesional footballer such as myself was not revelling in defender delights this season, but I'm willing to try. I'm like that three year old's drawing, it's ****, but you'll still stick it on the fridge; In short, I hope I can make the Fratton Faithful happy and confident in my abilities.

I would also be willing to take a 2k p/w wage cut in exchange for a better seat in the stand this season.
