quick message for Leo do you remember us discussing possible referendum dates promised in 2017? heres why it wont happen under uncle Dave
    http://en.euabc.com/word/783
Merkel has already stated in german media that she will oppose we have already signed our rights away. in my book this loss of ability to sort our own legal business and laws is tantamount to treason .
    Thank you
all eyes on Newark can ukip overcome a huge Tory majority and get their first MP ? I think it will be close .

Ready for a few away games next season H? - still feeling a bit flat after those last few abysmal games, but I am sure I will perk up after a good holiday.

Thank you for that Norway but I fail to see any relevance at all in the article - can you explain please.

Treason? We delegate powers to a body we elected to join and held a referendum in 1975 which confirmed our membership - and which we can leave if we choose to - you have a strange definition of treason.

David Cameron has said that if he is the Prime Minister of a Conservative Government after next year's election he WILL hold a referendum in 2017. End of. How successfully he negotiates with the rest of Europe and what he can claim he has "won" from them will determine how many people vote to stay in or get out. What Angela Merkel feeds to the media is of course for her own PR purposes. Anyone who has ever taken part in negotiations knows that you state a position from which you then move or not in negotiations

You should be most unhappy that UKIP did so well last week that there is almost no chance of David Cameron forming a Conservative Government - so it does not look like you will get the chance to vote in a referendum as no other party proposes one.

I think that Norway had been on a very strong home brew when he came up with that link Leo ;) I do however suspect that he has as much chance of voting as I do unless he leaves Norway.

According to this article there are 1,400 'fans' with banning orders from England who must hand in their passports. Others from the UK have these orders but don't have to hand them in. With the numbers involved it is no wonder that rightly or wrongly British fans have a bad reputation.

Perhaps he has a postal vote for an address in England? :) Happy for him not to vote if he would use it on UKIP

Strange to think though that someone who lives and earns a living in a foreign country (which is not even part of the EU) can object to others having that right in the UK especially as they form part of our EU family. Not bigoted of course.

Did use a postal Vote Leo and did vote Ukip ;) I would like a UK to come back to in 3 yrs time Not a part of a federal state of europe!
I also can see through the mainstream parties lies and smear campaigns , for your info I normally vote Tory !
I changed to UKIP because Cameron will never get a referendum the qmv regs that have been ratified and come into force in november this year.
Strange how mainstream politics kept that bit of railroading pretty quiet . The voice of the people wanting a referendum however will be ignored as various alliances by liblabcon and FPTP voting will see that we are further integrated into EU , losing our right to our own military , losing the right to make our own laws (unless eu approved) .What I am trying to say is we have been sold out.
Even Yesterday the EU asked for another £500m from british taxpayer! when our national debt is in the trillions!
The system in 75 was a good idea but it has grown far away from those ideals into an expansionist organisation that has hindered and worsened the ukraine crisis. An unelected hierachy are in effect gaining control of our country .
Merkel has already said Cameron will not get a referendum !
IMHO we have not made progress with the EU . it is an entity the uk cannot afford.
To UK level Labour well look at Tower Hamlets is that the way you want UK to go?
Tories were more concerned with smear campaign which labour jumped on as well.
Best of old guard were the lib dems who were used as Tory scapegoat and were hammered.
Greens have some good ideas .

UKip will lay put a detailed GE manifesto in sept 2014 I will await and read it if there is common sense policies that are workable they will keep my vote ,
despite intimidation , abuse and lies , bricked windows and vandalised cars that ukip supporters have suffered.

So as mentioned we wont get a referendum so my only hope is a lot more difficult and far fetched , Ukip(only anti EU choice) need to get MP`s into westminster, considering they have none at present would be a very radical public shift!
First By-election on June 5 Newark need to overturn a massive Tory majority and cameron has been there on campaign trail 3 times in last 2 weeks! then I think its July and a by-election in Cornwall .Its going to be more important than what we have witnessed over the last 2 weeks!
Big question is whether the Kippers can keep momentum growing or not , if they could turn Newark into a marginal from a Tory stronghold that would have to be a great result for UKIP if Tories keep a 5 figure majority then less so.

I will vote UKIP at the Election because I can foresee a new glorious "Golden Age" for the UK if we leave the EU.

We will resurrect the British Empire to trade with. Norway and Iceland will join as honorary full members. The USA will be an associate member.

The Entente Cordiale will be repudiated and we will go back to 900 years of satisfying warfare with the French.

Every summer will be gloriously hot. Once more we will win our cricketing Test Matches against all comers (except possibly the Aussies).

Steam Trains will replace diesel and electric once again - the Beeching cuts will be reversed. Once again will it be possible to travel from London to Manchester in just under 4 hours! The Channel Tunnel will be closed and bull-dozed to prevent any French (or Romanian) army from invading. HS2 will be dropped and the money used to turn HS1 into a greenway for Land Rovers.

All death duties will be abolished and land returned to the Aristocracy with their country houses. Once more Hereditary Peers will take their rightful place in the House of Lords which will regain its veto over any legislation proposed by the Commons.

Children under eight will once more be a productive part of the economy - going up chimneys and oiling weaving machines in the mills. These mills will be rebuilt in the North where they have always belonged. Tower Blocks will be demolished and replaced by "back-to-backs" with outside loos - affordable housing indeed!

The term "Gay" will once more be applied to happy, smiling upper class folks - Three Men in a Boat will be required reading for all Grammar School pupils.

Funding for the NHS will be cut along with benefits - why should the poor enjoy health and wealth to the detriment of those that more properly deserve them. (Oh hang on, the NHS itself will be cut).

And once more will ordinary folk have to display due deference to their betters - failure to tug the forelock when passing someone of a higher class will result in the loss of the left hand at the wrist.

    Happy days indeed - I can't wait!
