Good goal from Cahill, decent delivery from Baines. Sterling on, come on Raheem!

Why not just borrow wax dummies from Madame Tussards- should put up a more comparable fight to Woy's England squad.

    That's a city in South Carolina! :)

We're not in the world cup but Colombia is! <ok>

Sterling is just so much better than other options. He gets on the ball, turns and runs. So much more positive than the rest.

Welbeck is still on the pitch. One thing about the Lambert deal, he is better than Welbeck!

Unlucky from Sterling, decent from Welbeck (at long last!) and Barkley.

Welbeck hasn't offered much. Sterling has been brighter since coming on without doing too much.

Rooney doesn't look fit in the peculiar way he never seems sharp for England.

    At the moment I'd pick

    ----------------Hart
    GJ----Cahill-----Jag----Baines
    ---------Gerrard--Hendo
    ---------------Barkley
    ---Lallana--Sturridge--Sterling

nobody wants to paly these games... nobody wants an injury now... but think of it this way... if sturridge can fire in all 3 games the press pressure to play him properly and not on the wing will be too much

sniff... just sub in mings, skertl, sahko, flanno and moreno and thats lfc's team next year ;) barkely is a 15million player, lallana the same and obviously nobody in their right might would want jagielka seeing shock he'll be 32 shortly (augusy) and obviously thats over the hill.

Pretty boring match with sturridges goal being the only highlight.
I know most players are trying to make sure they don't get injured but Rooney and Johnson were an embarrassment . I know Welbeck gets a lot of stick but at least he tries. Rooney just looked unfit and disinterested. Johnson just carried on from where he left off with us.
Positives were Henderson who bought some much needs energy to midfield and sterling who showed why he should be a starter and that's about it.
If woy insists on starting with Rooney then we won't win a game. And our defense will be ripped open by decent attacks.

Decent enough game for England. Conservative and a bit boring but comfortable and a good result.
