........ and he's a good player. I've seen this lad live, playing against Nice, and you wouldn't want to mark him. He's quick off the mark, plays on the shoulder and can finish ...... he's also really difficult to knock off the ball. Plus he's a bit of a cheat in a good way. He wins loads of free kicks and finds space in the box at corners. Free anarl Only problem is that his agent is a twat, Willie McKay. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...m-race-sign-Lyon-striker-Bafetimbi-Gomis.html
My latest stalker is coming on to deliberately start an argument ..... after which he'll accuse me of arguing
Decent player but will want big wages. We were supposedly in for him but tight fisted Jabba refused to pay them.
That's happening more and more often isn't it? Contracts must be a nightmare to negotiate these days ..... and they're worth next to nowt.
I'd say its been happening for years! The tipping point for me what when Rio Ferdinand was the first player to earn 100k per week . Nowadays you get average players earning world class sums of money. Just not right. No wonder the average guys feels disconnected to the team.
I've come back to the UK to be nearer my new grandkids and my family ...... do you have a problem with that? Personally I'm quite proud of myself, it was a difficult thing to do. I could've left my username the same, and made out I was still on the Riviéra but I believe in honesty. Is there anything else you'd like to know about my private life? I thought you only wanted to talk about football, any comment on the thread?
Some players wages are completely beyond comprehension to us normal folk. The fact that it would take say a bricklayer 12 years to earn what some of these ****s are picking up a week. But sadly, that's the way the game we all love has gone. I can see the day when football implodes on itself & we'll be left with going down local park on Sunday morning's to watch lads play because the love to, not because 250,000 grand a week is being banged into their bank accounts tax free.
