Hodgson already pissed me off when he said he didn't want the transfer stuff distracting Lallana, Shaw, and Lambert during WC preparations. If you don't want to deal with transfer stuff, how about asking clubs not to make transfer requests until after the WC instead of putting the onus on the players? But no, let the big clubs go ahead and create all the media buzz expressly to unsettle everyone and then ask the players to and the clubs being raided to shut up and not make waves.
I can see Lallana getting the first goal, to strip his top off showing his new 'You'll never walk alone' tattoo...
I was going to say that I was looking at Lallana with indifference, but it's worse than that...I'm looking at the rest of the team neutrally but at Lallana with mild distaste. It's sad....need to cheer up. Perhaps if Lallana scores.....
Totally agree with the above and there nothing worse than a hypocrite. Roy should know better and it is not appropriate for a person in his position to be so unprofessional. To sum it all up, I have a real problem with our club basically being punished for being successful, having a good set up/academy and a reputation for bringing English players through. Gutted....
