Reed between the lines - Is Les the issue?

The article was created in January, and beggars the question, why does Katharina want to steer away from the limelight if she is genuinely not asset stripping?

I am not saying her intention is to asset strip, however does pose the question.

 

I cycled from Edinburgh to London with Kriss Akabusi (please note spelling!) he is indeed a thoroughly lovely guy, and a lot more deep thinking than you may expect. Dyed in the wool Hammer indeed.

 

How long did that take?

 

My son met Akabusi and said he was a great guy who never stopped laughing...even at himself.

 

We stopped off at all the major athletics arenas along the way, where he delivered his (excellent) motivational talk to the young athletes - so Don Valley, Birmingham Alexander etc etc, down to Olympics Stadium which was about to open. A bit circuitous, but a 5 day jaunt.

 

His laugh is incredibly infectious, but he can also be quite serious. Not for long though. A super chap, and still a friend.

 

There was me unsure how to spell "Akabusi". Should have been worrying about the "Kriss".

Well said, let's get behind the board, so far nothing has happened that wouldn't have happened had Cortese still been in charge. At least Rickies going to the club he loves, not West Ham!

 

Oh LTL, you are on about that Akabusi, the runner; I was talking about his cousin, the Gospel singer

 

You've just told me how things might have gone under Cortese. I'm well aware of how things might have progressed under his tenure. I asked you might happen with this present setup.

 

I don't know what might happen under the current setup. It could be bad. It's all kind of scary. But I intend to face it, eyes open.

What purpose does conjuring up some mythological, revisionist, idealized version of Cortese to hind behind serve? He wasn't who you want him to be, and he's not going to come to the rescue.

 

I wonder if the answer to that lies in the finances, or more to the point KL's notebook finances.

 

I used to have Kris's Akabusi's voicemail number. The answerphone always had a long motivational speil. Me and some mates left him a happy new years message chiefly consisting of a large group of people bellowing purple rain.

 

Haha, yes, he still has a motivational quote as his voicemail.

 

No he isn't, mores the pity.

Look, I reserve the right to be as downcast about the future of Saints as I want to be, OK..? No doubt I will become as optimistic as my usual self at some point. Just not now. I'm not in the mood for chin up, or never mind scenarios. Sometimes it's OK to be sad.
