Blinkin ek, we are clear favorites with all firms, However things can change quickly, if your having a flutter i would look at the odds after the first month.
Although I am a Swans supporter 100% this is not a windup as I follow Cardiff's fortunes as well. Before I give my view on what may be I hark back to last season. The only players that may have improved my team were Marshall and Mutch. The great Bill Shankly once said to be a great team you had to have a strong spine i.e. Goalie, Centre Half and Centre Forward and build a team around them. What saved us last season was having a strong striker and goal scorer. Ole seems to be trying to fix this. Your midfield whilst not premiership standard should be ok for the championship. My only concern at the moment is the defence is not being sorted. Still early days yet. Best of luck for the coming season. I hope we stay up and you come back up so that we can resume the derbies which I love.
Why is our back 4 getting such a hard time? Everyone who won us the Championship is still there...plus some. My pick is if Marshall stays, we go up as champs.
I am sceptical about our chances of an immediate return. The championship will not be so easy to win again, we were absolute rubbish on our run in when we won the championship. If the others below us had anything about them we would have been lucky with a play off place. We need cover in defence, the championship will test our fitness levels and stamina. Our midfield hasn't been decided yet due to speculation but I agree, we no longer have to worry about strikers but Campbell was living off scraps, who is going to provide the ball in the final third?
Welcome back DB, how are you today? Over your little hissy fit you fanny? Oops, back on topic, I hope Ole proves me wrong and we storm the league.
It doesn't matter if you're too good for it, you should be playing in the league of your own country. Suppose you fancy a crack at Serie A next year.
As you say Taff, our last 5 or 6 games in the championship winning season were all draws, the teams around us kept either drawing or losing and it was a bit of a false position, but we got there. I think next season it is imperative that OGS gets off to a good start, which will probably mean us getting a good set of fixtures in the first month or two. I think we will be ok, that is of course is dependant on OGS knowing and sticking with his preferred starting line up.
What's worrying is that his punctuation and spelling suggest he's not the normal level of ****** that normally rocks up with this ****. Educated to a level that can spell yet still amusing yourself getting banned off forums, have a think about it you prick.
I must admit I was expecting comments from a few visiting posters from other Championship clubs on the thread, but no cigars just yet apart from that Jaytab tosspot. Maybe they're all in fear of us and agree with my OP?
well done dragon born, you are the sad ****. surprised there weren't more ****s doing the same, threads like this give you the opportunity to do what you love to do, talk about cardiff city in your free time.
