I think he could be the best Celtic manager since Neil Lennon.

DD thinks that by appointing Keane he will fill the gaps in the stadium. Roy being Irish wouldn't save him if the football is crap though.

If we are hiring people on reasons other than merit, then the whole thing is just a farce.

You really don't want Keane anywhere near your Club unless you're after a new doorman.

Marcus Evans appointed Keane at Ipswich in the expectation of him bringing in the crowds and season ticket sales still haven't recovered such was the s###e affect he had on our Club.

I feel the same way about this appointment as I did when we brought Strachan to the club so who am I to judge?

Keane spunked £30m at Sunderland on the square root of **** all.

What a brilliant idea; tempt him to Celtic Park with promises of more money to chuck down the drain.

This **** is not filling me with the joys of christmas.

Can we not just just employ someone on their managerial abilities? Unless hangin around with MON has turned Keane into a manager.

Didnt he bomb stokes out at sunderland too?

Would have preferred someone like steve clarke.

Cant see keane accepting not being in control of transfers and losing his better players year in year out

I'd like to be optimistic about it but I can only see him lasting less than a season.

Big Pete has said he's only one of 5-10 promising candidates. Hope tae **** that means they'll hire someone else.

At least with JK you know he won't make himself centre of attention.

Keane is the last manager you would think of who would be dictated to so IF he gets the job you would have to think Desmond is giving extra finance via Glasgow City Council

I've go two quid on Willie McStay so **** you Desmond

This is what I think ... get Keane's name in press, Irish fans and the wannabee Irish element buy season books ... deadline passes and it's Coyle!

I was going to buy a season ticket for the first time in 13 years this season.

Will definitely be waiting to see who the manager is and if he gets us into either the CL or Europa League group stage.

**** paying £400 to watch the ****ty SPFL, or whatever the **** they are calling it. Basically ****ing extortion.
