I'm in complete shock. I laughed off these rumours yesterday. What the **** is going on with our club?

The real reason the pitch got dug up is because it has been sold, so we play on mud and sand next season.

 

No one will cough up an exotic flavour for DTLW. He's from Southend, so the best you'll get is jellied eel flavour.

 

You can keep laughing them all off, except the Lambert one.

 

Damn. Guly would have been perfect for that.

 

I guess on the plus side, our ex-players can take last season's kit up with them to Liverpool and reuse it.

 

Lol that is the one I was laughing off. I just couldn't see it happening. I'm actually gutted, and this forum is a nightmare at the minute. A hub of various levels and stages of meltdowns.

 

Yeah. When you consider that Cortese tried to sell him in January though, you can't really blame Lambert for wanting to go, especially to Liverpool.

 

Oh I don't blame Lambert for leaving, I can't say I even blame the club for letting him go but it doesn't change how I feel about my, the fans and the club's loss. No blame coming from me but it just won't be the same without big Rickie.

I still wonder why Liverpool would want Rickie. At first glance he wouldnt appear to fit into their playstyle.

Yeh if we kept Lallana after all of this you would say we had done quite well but the silence on that matter is deafening.

 

The very lovely Mrs Godders has just gone to renew our tickets. It took a lot of discussion and arguing before we finally reached a decision to renew.

If you happen to be at St Mary's in the next hour or so keep clear of the little old lady spitting blood.

I wouldn't want to be the person in the ticket office serving her.

She is in a foul mood and as mad as hell over what is happening.

 

Personally, I think the Lallana idea is wrong. It is too obvious and Bournemouth would be fools to not contest a smaller than expected offer for him. I think they'd win in the courts and Saints would be even more of a laughing stock. Also, it doesn't fit with the whiter than white approach of our board. We can accuse them of being soft and too nice, but the idea that they are hard-headed business folk doesn't, unfortunately, seem to fit.

 

Dont get me wrong, I dont think it's designed to swindle Bournemouth, it's more that Lallana has told Liverpool he wants his friend with him.
