I understood an open top bus was booked and the route would have been around the city ending up at the KC Stadium.

Who's petty? Good move by Allam this.

That.... Woman.... What a ****ing loon. She had no place at the cup final, she's an embarrassment to democracy. How she got into that position is a miracle of the wrong sort.

As others have said, the councillor won't even name himself. They tread on eggshells in fear of incurring the wrath of Assem. It's been clear they're a completely incompetent bunch of circus shaming clown shoes, and the people of hull just voted them back in <laugh>

True, but quite different from his earlier threat to only tour the East Riding. I am a City fan who is grateful that AA loaned the club the cash to survive and develop, but I wouldn't want to do business with him.

She's the only person I know that has to read out loud "I declare this fair now open" from a piece of paper.

Typical Allam though. Petty, nasty and not to be trusted with running Hull City AFC.

No one wants to do business with a proper business man.

So he stood up to a load of freeloaders who do not support the City's football team, are never seen at games, and do not have the interests of the club, or its fans at their heart and...he's in the wrong?

    Good on him.

The sense of entitlement is wrong and I for one am happy someone is standing up to it.

Once again, Happy deliberately misses the point.

It doesn't mater that the mayor is a thick bird who looks like a bad drag act, he wasn't going to sit with her, it was just a pair of tickets and it's entirely symbolic. It's a completely childish snub and another example of our owner unnecessarily falling out with those he should be working with, not against, for the benefit of the club.

Fact? Any source for that? Please don't start with the childish pictures of HP, this is serious.

On the one side we have a generous philanthropist, giving money away and supporting things all over the city, who is also the owner of a football club he's doing his best to make financially self supporting and profitable.

On the other side we have the HCC who only seem to be interested in themselves, safe in the knowledge they have jobs for life by the looks of it, and who like to paint themselves as the victims who are standing up to the evil Dr Allam.

I agree both sides aren't blameless in this mess but I would expect HCC to be falling over themselves to fix it, considering they are meant to represent all of the citizens of the region and are meant to serve those same citizens.

Let Allam have the stadium, or a majority stake for an agreed fee to secure the leasehold. He can then develop it to the benefit of the club and the city as stadium owner; all the council need is a covenant over the stadium granting them a fixed proportion of any sale proceeds in the event Allam or Allamhouse sells if they retain a minority stake, or a payback scheme which allows the council to release the freehold over time. Sorting out terms and conditions that work for both shouldn't be too difficult if it achieves what both parties want; It's not rocket science!

as a kid i lived opposite to a councillor and a group of us played football on wasteland on Coltman St - doing no harm at all , he was constantly at our door telling me mam how loud we all were .

Get this , when the Youth club on Rawlings way opened , he banned us on site and sent the police to us and was given a threat of not even being allowed down Bean Street .

We went to Gordon St / Edinburgh St youth clubs instead , and in the 3 yrs or so i was there we never caused trouble - infact it kept us out of trouble , .

    **** them all !
