Strong rumours going around that we have hijacked Portsmouth move for ex Plymouth striker Reuben Reid, he was apparently suppose to be signing for them today but we came in and made a higher wage offer. Now rumours are suggesting he will be a Bristol City player on Monday...

If he signs can we then call him home grown talent as he's from Bristol?

 

There is no doubt that if we offer him a contract he'll come here. He stated when he signed for Yeovil he did so because he wanted to be as close as he could to Bristol.

Personally wouldn't mind us signing this guy, Probably a better Tyrone Barnett, he would be free, would want to play here and he wouldn't need to settle down in our city as he is already so! Seems like a no brainer to me, we need this type of striker, he's at the right age and he can score. (17 for Plymouth last season) We will still need another striker if we sign him though, another in the same style as Sam Baldock

 

More clubs than most golfers you care to mention.
Has only scored goals at Rotherham and Plymouth, second time around.
On the benefit side only twenty five so maybe SC can settle him down?
