Likewise. Service a month ago, two new tyres 2 weeks ago. Hit a fukin deer on the A15- 350 quids worth of damage- the deer had no insurance!! typical. Now the bearings have gone. The amount of steroids the rugby nobs are taking these days expect a lot more "stress" related stuff in the future.
Why not?? It's not like it can object! Surely that's better than leaving it laying by the side of the road too??
It's one of them stupid laws isn't it? You can't takle home your own roadkill but the car behind can stop and put it in his boot.
I was about to suggest pretending it was someone else's kill, but spotted the flaw in my logic there. Presumably there's a huge deer shaped dent in yer car?
He could if he coulda found it. It went 50 yards up and over into a field!! It literally **** itself as i hit it. I had deer **** all over the front end and the windscreen. Knocked out the front grill and a crack in the bumper. 150 quid for a new grill, it's only plastic too! Does anyone remember the Woody Allen sketch about hitting the moose?
Repeatedly from behind?? e18 - sorta on topic...yeah, well after checking briefly, Gleeson's betting against his own team seems...fooked up, I hadnt realised that was him, but like I said I don't follow rugby. Oh and yes, supporting the mighty Tigers all these years, actually I think Im fairly immune to stress now, I just take the good times and ignore the rest! It's been good practise after being cursed with 3 daughters!
Well......that was another deer, on another road...! The thing is that, if it's on someone's land, it's 'theirs'. If it jumps the fence and hits you on the road, it ain't theirs anymore! I know, cos I get deer in my garden, but they're not mine, as my garden is owned by the landowner, whose estate cottage I rent. Yet, as I say, if it's out on the road, then it's nobody's when it hits you....not even yours unless you're the next one who comes along the road.
Wow saw Percy's quote and he was right, shame about the 'expected' bit at the end which killed his good point. If this guy has mental health issues it's just the same as being physically incapacitated and he deserves the benefit of the doubt.
