Can you name me a time in the history of English football when a club has sold all of it's best players in one to? (That isn't in administration).

It won't happen. As Kruger said, you don't spent 30million on a training complex, and employ more and more staff if you're going to weaken your company. It's ludicrous.

If we sell players it will be because the club believes (rightly or wrongly) that we can replace them with similar level players, whilst pocketing a load of cash.

(I am going to believe everything I have just written until proved otherwise.)

Yeah I bloody love the man. Had tears in my eyes when he scored for England. I don't mind saying it will hurt like **** if he goes.

But the most depressing thing is, I can't get a saints players name printed on my England shirt for wembley tomorrow, as I now don't know if any of them will be saints players.

 

Indeed. Whether Liverpool are actually serious or are just trying to destabilise us remains to be seen. Would be cruel to use Lambert as a bargaining chip only to buy his teammates.
