maybe not intent on leaving the saints but if there was 1 team that he would be desperate to leave the saints for would be liverpool. now aged 32 there would be no chance he would get this opportunity again. a chance to play for his favourite club and also champions league as well. he may not play as much but i think this is a great deal for him and im chuffed for him too.
