    Not sure if Brendon wasn't sniffing around Lambert when he was manager at Swansea.

    Are you going to be the force you'd hoped to be next season? I expected you to be aiming for a 5th - 7th place finish.

    Maybe but that's hard to prove I would imagine unless we do something silly like sell Lallana for £1m and Lambert for £34m. Not so easy if you just bump the Lambert price up a bit and knock the Lallana price down a bit.

    That's almost half team going with amount of gossip going round who next be our keeper and the goal post corner posts as they already sold the pitch (grass), when did they started summer closing down sale and getting ready for going down to championship?(looking for my black arm bands) for start next season

    Put everything else to one side and ask yourself this. Would you honestly ever stand in the way of Rickie Lambert signing for Liverpool? After all he's done for us, do you think the club should?

    Liverpool also briefed that they were on the verge of signing Lallana, and United said the same about Shaw, weeks ago. They haven't happened.

    I never said I think it's impossible, I just think the reaction is absurd. Even if it is true, so what? It means one player is going (who we tried to sell in January), not that we're throwing in the towel.
